Graal v4.01 revision 12 released

Download it by connecting to the serverlist (login server).
Updates:
- new login screen with animations; guest account is not enabled though so you don't need to wonder why it's not working
- scroll control transparency is fixed
- not crashing when loading gifs or mngs with subimages that don't fit in the image size - on linux/mac they will display correctly, on v4 for windows the gif loader is optimized and it would be hard to modify it for that special case
- keypressed-events with shift/ctrl/alt give the correct key code
- gani scripts are removed after leaving a server so that the script is not illegally running on other servers
- graal is not drawing anymore when the window is invisible or the screen is locked, this should possibly fix some problems on windows xp
- escape characters in PMs are correctly sent and shown in history (not completely compatible with v2 though)
- rotated particles are correctly clipped
- added an emitter.removeModifiers() function
- the events onFileChunkReceived(filename,filepos,filesize) and onFileDownloaded(filename,filesize) work better now

PS: if you only see a green background, delete FILENAMECACHE.txt from your Graal folder. This will be fixed tomorrow.

I think it would be neat if the serverlist was as lively as the login screen. Good job though, it's nifty.

hmm, my login screen seems to be missing some of the graphics ):

PS: if you only see a green background, delete FILENAMECACHE.txt from your Graal folder. This will be fixed tomorrow.

Why must everything be Graal Kingdoms oriented? I for one HATE Graal Kingdoms and think it looks terrible and having to look at that everytime I log onto graal just scares me away... :/ Ability to change please?

The old login screen of v2-v4 had kingdoms graphics too. We already thought about making it customizable, probably a little bit complicated with the animations but possible.

Yes, and it's been bugging me for quite a while.. Forcing GK on us isnt the best thing ;/...

I hardly think that using GK graphics is forcing GK on anyone.

Anyway, I think it looks nice except around the graphics box is drab (would be nice if the graphics filled the whole screen), and it doesn't match with the playerlist screen.

Yes, please, I, for one, prefer the GK colors over the blue theme, which I do not like.

The start button position and color is wierd to me.
And I would probably change "Become Member" to "Become a Member".

Other than that, the start screen isn't too bad.

I, for one, would love for it to be skinnable of sorts. I would personally love the option to have an INTROSCRIPT.txt file in my graal directory with the entire background script, and the names of the buttons and text entries so I can position them or add profiles accordingly. ^_^
