Ugh, don't restart a closed thread.
This has already been discussed, these rules are not going to be changed unless Unixmad or Stefan want them changed. I happen to agree with all of those rules as I am sure I probably stated in the closed thread.
Most of these rules were in place before I became a supermod. I always followed them out of respect to the owners who put the rules in place, or at least approved them.

If you insist on wanting the said rules changed, then make a support ticket, and make it for Stefan or Unixmad.

Let us not forget that starting up a new thread that is a duplicate of a closed/removed thread is against the forum rules, unless you have permission to do so.
