'hideplayers #'
Or something. A command what will hide the players and not yourself. So, for example a world just for you, you can't see or communicate with any other players.
If there is a way around this what isn't complicated, post about it and stuff |
I know you said "for example a world just for you..", but what would be the point? If this idea is for your playerworld or something other, i doubt many people would like that.
Just my opinion... |
Would be good to make online single player worlds.

So having a "hideplayers()" function really wouldn't solve your problem. You would still have to somehow script each NPC to allow for multiple interactions from all players, while keeping its output hidden to each individual player depending on what they did. I can only picture this getting messy. |
I think this would be good
if you could do something in gscript2 like this... players[x].hide(); |
If you want a world to yourself, then why not use editor? Or, if you want an NPC-Server, then get a playerworld.

Evil: Yeah, that'd be cool. |

I don't believe he explained why he wanted this feature. If it's to do certain things alone, then it's not needed. Have you seen how Shaded Legend does it? The boss battles and certain cut scenes can only be fought/viewed with one player in the level at a time. These type of things can be scripted. |
Yeah, but on Shaded Legend it just warps you to a copy of the same level, or to a room that doesn't allow you in until the previous person has left it.
One way I can think of where this would be useful would be if you wanted to create something in the same style as of Guild Wars. |
