Possibly a /open ipban , instead of having to use the text file, also add it to the rights list so it couldn't be so easily abused as it is now?

/open Moonite. The "last ip" is listed on the top left. His ip most likely is static since a lot of poeple have cable. However you can always use the *.*'s

But what about the poor guy with the account ipban?! Nobody will be able to edit his attributes now!

It's a plan, certainly. But I'd see more use in a list window. For example, it could look similar to the class browser in NC: you'd see all the standing IP blocks which were banned in a list, and could edit them individually from that. Each IP block in this list could also have a username responsible and a comment assigned to it, for example, "Block: 80.177.222.207. Set by: admin. Comment: This is GrowlZ and you must NEVER let him do anything!!".

Seems to make more sense to just have the text file. And then write a comment to the side of it who it is and why. Considering that if you IP ban someone, odds are you're doing it because they have multiple accounts, so what would be the difference between /openipban vs /openban at that point? Other than perhaps blocking out someone else who has the misfortune to get that IP =/ It's fine as it is I see.
