the day i took the job, Classic was already in a coffin with the nails to close it shut not far behind. I think everyone could agree to an extent that after the dual management debacle, the servers chances of survival were low.
The problems were widespread, first off, you had 2 managers that for my period of Dev Admin, just went nearly completely inactive. Storm moreso than Thor. Nonetheless, in order to make sure needed management work got done, myself ,with the help of my development team, frequently had to essentially do tasks that the Management(that have the ability to code aswell!) should be doing.
For example:
The management duo had the task of giving me a general outline for what they wanted for the server, just a broad sense of which directions we were taking. They could never reach an agreed direction on things, thus, a couple months later, I had to take it upon myself to decide what server the direction was going to be developmentally and storylinewise. I also had to fill in for Night when he went inactive with some GC matters, mostly regarding the ticket crisis and GCs seeming collapse, me having designated some of my scarce developer resources to trying to stop GC's sinking ship.
All and all, with inactivity and all. It would have taken a miracle to get Classic back on full track. I thought I could give it my best shot and hope for the best. Apparently the problems were too great for me to fix, for that it kinda sucks.
But I voted no because I went into this thing knowing Classic was probably ****ed anyway.
I still think I had a decent growning development team. That if we had a senior member or 2 around like WD, could have really had potential. I also wish Luda would had been around as sort of a levels admin, to lead the way in the visual style of classic, as well as teach the young and eager to work tilers so they could reach their potential under him. With some extra pieces there, I think we could have made a stronger show.

I think it should be noted that while you had pointed the finger towards me and Storm having quit for the 999th time the one project you set that had any type of meaningful progress (despite the fact it had virtually no planning at all) actually had both me and Storm contribute alot of scripting and ideas towards it.
As far as giving you a general outline as to what to try and accomplish as admin, you were insistent that you had full creative freedom with Development.
When it comes to having a senior Developer like WhiteDragon around, it would have helped had you not caused him to quit by constantly attempting to damage his reputation by taking quotes out of their context and disconnecting him from RC for no/little reason.
But I agree, the problems definately were too great for you to fix, they were too great for me to fix, they were too great for Storm to fix, with the Development Team we had it was impossible to compete with other servers as far as constantly pumping out small updates, and with the systems/poorly made overworld/lack of written plan it was near impossible to Develop in the long term aswell.
We wiped the server at the point where we had nothing to lose, and since then we have created an entirely new set of systems which we feel is easy to work with, and alot of players have said they feel like they are using Default, with our new Sparring and Events setup I feel we are setting new standards compared to Graal as a whole and not just compared to the server before,
now we are moving onto Quest content, and for this there has been a written plan as to our approach from the very start.
