the time was judged on how much the PWs have improved. PWA staff came on and looked around, if they felt it was impoving then of course more time is an obvious thing to do as it will be worth it on release.

Well they should make a better judgment on how it is when they test it first, before it goes up to give them an exact time to be public, not a year.

Who are you to say how good or bad the PWA judging of PWs are? I think they know what they are doing. And Rudora, belive it or not, hasnt been up for a year, not even anywhere near half of one either.

Wrong. PWA didn't have access to private playerworlds until recently. Angel was basicly logging on and saying stuff like "I will review your playerworld soon. If it pass you open up, if not I shut you down."


I won't say you're wrong or right on that. From what I see Rudora has not made any noticeable improvements. If what you say is true then Rudora would have been forced open like the others.
I could be wrong though even though I doubt it because lots of people use a ridiculous excuses of "oh you don't know whats going on in the background". From what I've seen it's usually a BS cover-up.
Although from some people you can expect progress because they have proven it over time that when they work they can produce some very good quality projects.

Oh wait, lol, Era 2 is in development, BRAVO is making something that will *kick eras ass* but the tiles and ideas suck.

lol, origional ideas are a gamble... it's safer to stick with what you know works (which is copying already popular PW's, and trying to make them even better)

i mean, how many man hours does it take to make a server? would you use them all on a gamble?

i think my server is semi-origional.... yet not really origional as much as i'd like

Not entirely true. If you take stuff that has been done already you should make huge improvements on them. Plus most of the playerworld should be original. Nobody likes playerworlds with the same content they can find on other playerworlds.

people copy servers which are successfull, then make changes to try to make it even better... it's a more safe way to make a server

only 1 problem... the servers online sux (mostly), and i think if they were sent in to be reviewed now, they wouldn't pass

anyways, i agree... new servers 'should' be origional.... but like i said, who's going to put all that work into a gamble like that? not many people

It would be nice if they did make online playerworlds have to go through the same reviews because there are going to be playerworlds that are better and with the new pay system people will be able to put up any crap online.
