Well the problem I see with this is USB's don't always have the largest memory. I mean, that's not a big problem as an >4GB isn't that rare nowadays, but what happens if you run out of space while downloading stuff?

I propose if this were to happen, it would download images into a temp folder on the computer, much like how browsers do so, that clears upon closing.

You can't play the normal client off a USB drive? I've never tried it, but I'd be surprised to hear that it couldn't be done without a special client.

You definitely can run Graal off a USB directly. I know this as fact. As someone mentioned, the only problem is space on the USB drive itself, but that's not too much of an issue. Even with all the images, etc etc that I download from servers and stuff, my Graal folder is relatively small on my computer. The last time I bought a USB Storage Device, though, was when they were really new and 128MB was super expensive, but now you could pick up a 10GB+ Flash Drive for around the same price I paid back then.

You can easily run Graal off of a flash drive. I don't think its desirable though considering the read/write speed of a flash drive versus a hard drive.

It's possible, I don't know why you would want to though.
