Changing the weights of EC and Xmas Tokens (and similar)
I like to keep special items like Gold Keys, EC, Xmas Tokens, Nihils, and similar things in the "commode" piece of furniture in my house. It only has a capacity of 35kg, but the capacity of that item isn't what I'm talking about. That's probably fair for what is basically a drawer. I think the fact that a platinum coin weighs 0.003kg and a Nihil coin weighs 0.001kg. It only seems fair that an event "coin" would weigh something similar. I think 0.2 kg is a bit on the high side, considering how light other coins are. Xmas tokens are 0.1kg, but they are much easier to come by than EC. I had something like 30EC and 250 tokens in that drawer, and couldn't fit anything more in. Some GKs were thrown in there as well I'm sure, which are 2kg.
Not everything can be realistically weighted, sure. Seems like a little much for a key, though. I just try to keep as light as possible, and I'm not buying things all the time, so I'd rather not keep my EC on me. Of course, if they were re-weighted to something similar to Nihils and plat, I could probably just carry them anyway. I'd feel better storing that kind of currency in my house anyway, though. But for other people, maybe they'd like to keep it on them to craft EC items whenever they reach that amount of coins, or just to have them at the ready to trade. It was mentioned that a GPA is 320 EC, right? That's 64kg for just a small pile of coins to keep in your inventory. Maybe I'm in the minority because I don't have maxed+ stats and whatnot, but I still think this is valid. |
