Exclamation Army Rankings

Here is a detailed list of the rankings of our kingdom. To be even considered for any rank you must be accepted into our kingdom and prove yourself into a certain area that you would like to excel in. Please contact Tycho Brae (*AbsoluteMonkey), Fenix Valthonis (myself *FenixTheBanished), or any of the class leaders to discuss what is expected of each individual that seeks to enter into a given area of the Army.

Army:

Warlord:
The Warlord is in command of all of the forces that we in Zormite posses and with the Emperor's permission may declare war and give orders to all of the leaders in each of the different areas of battle. The Warlord is the strongest warrior and has proven themselves as the best person for the job of leading our armies.

Lord Commander:
The Lord Commander is the head of the Kingsguard and is responsible for primarily the safety of the Emperor/ruler of the realm and to ensure that harm does not befall them. This also entails doing things that the Emperor needs and requires assistance with and also is asked for council from the Emperor on matters of warfare.

Kingsguard:
The Kingsguard is a brotherhood of seven of the kingdom's best warriors, swordsman, magicians, priests, and overall fighters. The Lord Commander is the head of the Kingsguard and there, when full, are six Kingsguard that are a brotherhood that has the sole purpose of protecting the hierarchy of the kingdom and also to do as the Emperor and Empress bid. They are used in wars and are feared by many for their unparalleled fighting abilities.

Knight:
A Knight is a senior ranking Knight that has proven to be irreplaceable on the battlefield for their abilities to strike fear into the heart of their enemy and are some of the most unparalleled melee fighters in all of the kingdoms. To be a Knight you must be Knighted by the Lord Commander, a member of the Kingsguard, or one of the most senior ranking Knights within the Knighthood.

Hedge Knight:
A Hedge Knight is a Knight that is newly Knighted by a senior ranking Knight or one that is of a low household within the kingdom. This is a honor to be able to become a Hedge Knight as most warriors stay as a Squire even until their mid forties to fifties.

Squire:
A squire as attained their rank by being taken under the wing of a Knight or Hedge Knight whom will train and guide them in their walk to becoming one of the kingdom's Knights. Squires are to learn from their mentor the skills of fighting and also are to be trained by their mentors to enable them to become a more effective tool of war on the battlefield.

Soldier:
A soldier is a newly initiated member of the army that has skills based in melee combat, but has yet to prove himself as a warrior to be on par with the skill of a battle hardened Knight or Squire. To be promoted from this rank you must be taken under the wing by a Knight or Hedge Knight, whom will teach you and become your mentor in learning how to fight and battle efficiently.


High Magics:

Mystic:
The Mystic is the leader of the Magic and Priesthood that has displayed deep knowledge of all things arcane and graceful. They have shown skill in accomplishing complex spells and prayers that only the best and most dedicated can efficiently use in battle. To be considered for the rank of Mystic is the greatest honor that a Priest and Mage can hope to attain in their life time.

Alchemy Branch:

Alchemist:
The Alchemist is someone that has shown true knowledge in the field of alchemy and can make various potions and items with their attained knowledge over the years of dedicating themselves to their fine art. They hardly fumble an alchemy spell and can use their skills to also be used in battle.

Apprentice:
Apprentices are Alchemists that have just joined the ranks of Alchemy and are not attuned to the art in a way that shows comprehension or deep knowledge and skill. This does not mean that they are incompetent, but just means that they have more to learn to be able to accomplish the spells that Alchemists can.

Magic Branch:

Archmage:
An Archmage is the foremost Magician in the Mage Branch of the army and can cause absolute devastation with their spells. They can clear entire battlefields with the burning of flames, the freezing power of ice, the searing and burning power of lightning, and all other arcane magics that not only a rare few have come to know and comprehend. To be an Archmage is the highest honor that a Mage can accomplish without also delving into the priesthood to aspire to become a Mystic.

Wizard:
The Wizard is the second highest ranking magic user in the kingdom and has shown extensive skill over a majority of the other Mages in the Mage ranks. To be considered for a Wizard you must attain a certain level of magic and be able to know how to use your magical spells in battle efficiently to cause massive damage to enemies.

Mage:
The Mage is the base of the Magic Branch of the army and still has a bit to learn to be able to aspire to become a Wizard. They must be able to cast elementary spells in fast succession and be able to pour out a respectable amount of spells upon an enemy to be considered a Mage. This may be the bottom of the Branch, but is still an accomplishment to be considered for the rank.


Priesthood:

Holy Presence:
The Holy Presence is the corner stone of the entire Priesthood and has shown complete understanding in the faith of their respected god and can cast unknown kinds of prayers that cause massive unremarkable damage or can heal the most difficult wounds of a soldier whom is on their death bed or has even the sword of the enemy piercing their heart. They can sure the most difficult poisons and curses that can be afflicted by any god and are the foremost person to go to concerning any faith.

Faithful:
The Faithful are priests that have shown great devotion to the faith and can cast many different prayers from ones that can cause massive damage by calling upon the retribution of their god down upon and enemy. They can also use their skills to create food for the hungry and to restore health to allies and cure poisons and diseases that can be inflicted upon allies by enemies of the kingdom. They are the foremost to look for guidance in the priesthood apart from the Holy Presence himself.

Priest:
A Priest has proven to be faithful to any god and shows adequate skills in blessing, prayers, both offensive and defensive, and in restoration skills. To attain the rank of Faithful they must attain certain levels of wisdom and show skills in all the above areas to be able to be considered to become a Faithful.


Navy:

Fleet Admiral:
The Fleet Admiral has shown unparalleled skill in naval combat and the ability to command several ships in a coherent and understanding manner that can be relayed throughout the navy and enables the ships to come together as one cohesive assault against an enemy. To become a Fleet Admiral is the highest honor that a naval soldier can ever aspire to.

Commander:
A Commander commands a ship in the Navy that is used in domestic and war situations and knows how to man and give orders in a ship so that his or her crew can unite together to bring down a common foe or to rescue those in need in the most severe of storms. To be a Commander of a ship is a high honor that few ever live to see.

Captain:
A Captain may own his own ship and have his own crew to man it. A Captain has shown extensive knowledge to be able to lead a ship into battle and be able to come out victorious and to keep as many of his Marines and Recruits alive as possible while doing the greatest damage possible.

Marine:
Marines are sea hardened warriors that know how to handle a ship and can strike fear into the hearts of the crews of other ships with their deadly and precise use of bows, axes, swords, hammers, and cannonballs all in a beautiful array of death and chaos.

Recruit:
A Recruit is a newly inducted member to the sea faring portion of the army and has yet to earn his sea legs and to be considered one of the Marines. To be considered to become a Marine the Recruit must show extensive knowledge in manning a ship, firing a cannon, and using all the melee weapons necessary to attain victory in a naval situation.

Requirements for positions:
Army:

Warlord:
Must be personally appointed by the Emperor or Grand Duke of the Zormite Republic.

Must have proven to be the strongest, tactful, and loyal warrior.

Lord Commander:
Must prove him/herself as a Kingsguard before being appointed to the Lord Commander rank.

Must have:
110 Base level
50+ Physical level
30 Strength
30 Dexterity
26+ Constitution


Kingsguard:
(Can only be 6 Kingsgaurds)
Must have:
80+ Base level
45+ Physical levels
28+ Strength/Dexterity
25+ Constitution

Knight:

Must have:
70+ Base level
40+ Physical levels
27+ Str/Dex
24+ Con

Hedge Knight:

Must have:
50+ Base level
30+ Physical level
26+ Str/Dex
23+ Con

Squire:

Must have:
45+ Base level
25+ Physical level
25+ Str/Dex
23+ Con

Soldier:

15+ Base level
5+ Physical level
