New Guns Shop?

So over the past few years, Era's economy has been in the gutter. We all know this.. how can we fix it? There have been suggestions that staff should make a guns shop containing every gun on the game being sold at a locked price, basically so every gun has a set price and the economy can't go haywire.

Does Era support this idea? Would you guys like it if Era came out with a new weapons shop, just like fort knoxx, and the pawn shop, where players can buy and sell back all the guns on the game?

This would put Era's economy at a stable balance and beat the unfair prices/lame guns race, and it will also make it easier for GP's to do their job by making it to where all guns can be tracked through the pawn shop and hopefully where we can get a system telling how staff how many of a certain kind of gun exists in era, watching out for duping/glitches being exploited.

So what are your ideas? Do you guys support this idea? Are you against it? Do you guys have any BETTER ideas for the economy? Please share them.

how would this fix era's economy? era's economy is determined by the players and what they believe the street price of an item is. personally i don't really think that it's in the gutter right now because everything is somewhat affordable.

also isn't there already a shop in which you can return your items for %75 of the original shop price?

I think it'd be a great idea. It would just be like Vulcan auctioning off weapons but instead it's a shop. I also like the idea because Famas and alot of other guns are just... out there. Instead of coming from somewhere, players that have say K180s could quit and the players that are new or just want them won't have a way. Now they will, assuming the rest of you think this way.

Are you really trying to say you could actually purchase more then 50% of the guns out on the market?

Over 60% of them cost over 150-200k.

i'm saying that the prices are somewhat affordable, there's no reason you'd need to fix the economy. it's driven by players for players! not many people play era and coincidentally gun prices go up. unless the system was automated (which is ridiculous) there's no way guns would be affordable.

point being; you can't have your cake and eat it too.

a shop with all guns is just dull..takes out the exclusivness of rare items
a good idea would be to "spawn" existing and NEW GUNS through auctions, which are also quite fun
for example, say that every monday at a set time 5-10 guns are auctioned, this would be great

Take note on both of you having Mp5s, not to mention Reck has two. You just don't want others having the same ability to get guns.

I'd also like to add that there would also be a fairly good chance of new weapons being added through this shop if it's made.

That would cause a overflow in guns....
In a year there would be way too many of one gun.

dude it doesn't matter what you add to the game, you need to take away things too.

you'd basically have to take away the trade system and completely remove street prices for items for your perfect economy to work. that's absolutely ridiculous from a financial standpoint. it'd basically force every player to mine for their money... most people just merchant etc.

also half of your arguements are flawed - nobody cares whether or not your guns are going to be considered rare anymore. it's about enjoying the game and what items have to offer.

but in reality era's economy just doesn't work that way.

case in point: stupid thread is stupid

I could give two ****s about what Items i have.
If you make one shop have all the weapons, that's too unbalanced, there should be "rare" guns and items.

ie, You can't walk into a store and buy a musket from over 200 years ago.
