Subscriptions...

Any thought of it ever changing or relating back to the old plans? Is there a new subscription planned for the next GraalClient? Or is this the one we're stuck with until Graal's death...?

I was wondering the same thing...

I think it's very clear that some of the current features are not very popular and should be changed (observer mode, crappy/expensive payment plans) if CJ wants to please its customers.

Maybe..

Exchange Observer mode with Ad-Supported mode, and then get servers to implement trial restrictions.

I don't want to sound like a troll 'bout the subscription plans (because everyone complains), but it definitely isn't heading in a good route. Anyone with eyes can agree with me. And GraalOnline is known to change their subscription plans throughout the years, so I was just curious?

I do not see them changing the subscription plans without a clever marketing gimmick or otherwise logical motivation. There needs to be an increase in playerworld quality and actual amount of users who are playing Graal.

Doing something better than the current 'observer mode' is certainly something that should be done, however. This aspect was not exactly a bright business decision.

Also, whether or not we as a community disagree, Graal is a secondary thought for CJ for rather obvious P&L reasons and anybody with enough sense would understand why.

That ultimately leaves it up to us as a community, through our available resources, to give CJ a reason to pay us a little more attention.

Business is business, said with respect.

But all in all, I'm starting to feel that development toward this game is becoming a little unworthy due to the playercount dramastically decreasing.

Going from a daily 500 player average (which is still considerably low) is now only averaging about 255 with school in resume. Graph

I like Graal, and I'm not trying to flame the fact that its dying or anything, but in reality it is progressing that way and has been for the past few years. Stefan considers it being a "development platform" which may soon be nothing.

I agree that it's time to fix up the sloppy/expensive payment method and upgrade disadvantages. I'm also sick of reformatting and needing to retrieve my Graal password. I would prefer to have a personal password and I'm sure everyone else would too. : ]

Sadly, I tend to memorize the random password, hehe.
(I still remember my first Graal password)

i doubt it changes, the tactic they seem to be using is bleed the customer dry until they bail on the game.
