And this is exactly why as Graal's software advanced, it was deemed impossible to convert Tyhm's GTA (which was already very buggy)... unless you wanted to trawl through 6000 levels which were created using hardly any systematic resources.

Exactly, though even an NPC which works at first may be problematic in the long run. What if you were to create some new weapon/system, but this weapon were to collide with older scripts?
You'd either have to have ensured everything complex on the server is scripted systematically, or keep having to go back and fix older scripts.
