What do you think?

Hey everyone, I've been working on this level for a bit. I didn't really go into heavy detail, because it was mainly to show off cliffs.
What you guys think of it?

I'll take any criticism, suggestions, etc.

Besides a tile error due to the cliffs being too close to the water ridge I think this is very nice... taken the other visual problems are due to the crappy tileset...

The cliff tiles going inwards north you might want to reposition them though, the edges going up are touching the edges going down leaving small points which could be fixed.

Great job though, looks nice from a classic type perspective. (less details)

I don't exactly understand what you mean, but I think what you're talking about is a tileset error.
Thanks though

It's cute.
Maybe add the shadow under the cliff above the bushes?
Couple minor errors that aren't really related to the cliffs, but nothing major.
It's cute though ^_^

I seem to find alot of errors. Also I really dislike that you dont change the cliff 'height' on the high cliffs but you do on the smaller ones. Stick to one style.
The layout is nice and i like it in general.

I cant show you what i mean is wrong since i'm at work.
I dont mean to be rude if it sounds like it, i just suck at english and cant explain better

So, this is the cliff and water part that can be fixed.

The two middle sets can be arranged so that they don't have the pointy tips on both sides.

This, I'm not sure if there is a fix, which is why I believe it is a tileset error.. can be fixed on the tileset image.

This isn't 'quite' a tile error.. the lines don't match of course but many people do it.. I personally do not like it but it could be fixed with either regular grass ridges or the lighter type.

I'm not saying all these are making the big product look bad though, I think the level is pretty nice. You could say I'm only trying to get you to notice things more.

I like your level, it's really the cliffs that make it so you've definately achieved your goal. Nice work!
In my honest opinion i'm not a huge fan of those dirt patches though.
Keep at it!

I like the level overall, but I think it could've done without the bottom most dirt patches - they look pretty bad.

And to avoid them sometimes ruins the desired effect you were after...
Sorry if I've ruined any of your favorite special effects Tricxta. :x

(Obviously didn't work, however I'd keep trying.)

Also, I believe you skipped over this, and I quote.

Which almost hints that I believed it was something wrong with pics1... just a small hint some might stumble over and miss I guess...

By the way, if you are so keen in putting other peoples opinions down,
you probably shouldn't post in peoples threads that ask for opinions. Just a small tip.
Some people are actually here to learn and some actually want to try and teach.

Things like "I like your work" without any criticism as to why, or what could be fixed have no effect in perfecting future works, nor giving any suggesting into what they should or should not use for the future. You may not be trying to help, but others do.

You might not find my suggestions valid, but others might actually see value in them.

I'm not the type that says... oh thats a small minor detail, forget about it.
You can ask my small LAT team and Graphics team.. Some redo things a few times, and I will actually edit the work, show them what they are missing, and I believe they do start to do better overtime... Although I do have some people who have astonished me, where like this there are only 1-2 things that I feel 'could' be changed but don't have to.

If it were me, and if I couldn't fix it, I will recreate it.

(The outer rim is a picture, I now feel compelled to fix the bottom right corner...)

So if you aren't here to help, and cannot give valid reasons why an error shouldn't be fixed, why put others trying to help down?

Now if Jobistekos did feel the same way, and wanted me to stop giving him suggestions I feel could help improve his work,
I would feel obligated to abide. We all help in our own little ways, you care about dirt patches, I care about hidden details others might see. I don't even get the dirt patch part, I'd spread them out some but it didn't bother me.
