Scripting this System Question

Yes, I've been pondering a lot of ideas; problem is I'm not really a scripter. But I am still curious to how hard such a script would be.

Okay now, I played this MMORPG called Dragonica a while back and I recalled them having a very peculiar fighting system... That system you see was heavily based on Combos as this screenshot below portrays.

Now my question is.. What kind of scripting would this take to be created?
I can imagine a lot of clientr flags and variables, but that is as far as my mind can go..

Explaination of why I ask this: Basically what they did was instead of making all abilities in their classes just based towards Mana use that it also used the possible necessity of combos to empower their abilities slightly further; it even allowed for better experience gain as you kept fighting, this encouraged very good quality fast speed gameplay. I see this as a very positive idea to use for an RPG and I end this opening post with a repeating of the question.

My question I repeat: How hard would this be to incorporate into graal form?
Bonus points to whoever can give a nice guideline on how this would be handled.

I've pondered about this kind of system for a good couple of months now so I would really like to see some quality answer.

P.S:I could see this being a very inspiring idea to incorporate to any server of graals; classic or RPG setting.

P.S.S: Now writing a blog entry for a server idea that uses this idea as a good part of it. Check every once in a while to see it develop.

It's just a generic RPG damage system, the only difference is you would store the time of last hit and calculate further damage based on it. The Monk skills on Zodiac do something similar.

I believe you rather rushed through what I was stating. It doesn't necessarily effect damage as much as it affects what you're even able to do, along with beneficial boost overtime of keeping said combo up, now remind me exactly how generic that is versus your example?
No bonus points 4 u though.

But to avoid a fight; I'm confused by the statement lacking of reasoning behind said statement is all considering where my example says otherwise considering it never effected damage rather it effected the experience you gained.
