It's great how people are against it are the runners, but bigger energy consumption sounds pretty good too :O

Remove the hotkeys and keep Jetpack.

i don't like this idea because i use jetpack alot to transport myself,
it got nothing to do with running, but i think the timer is a better idea in my opinion

I personally think that having a jetpack to run around with is lots of fun I usually just fly around iricia now running from everything since the playercount sucks. I think if you first find the major problems then move on to the minor ones would be a better idea

Well, yeah, you can still jump cliffs and all that, which is quite an advantage compared to going around or finding the ladder, but now people can't use it to "absorb" rockets and constantly dodge incoming fire by floating around. Plus, it'll stop people from getting away, healing, and coming back all the time, or floating all the way back to a bunker door from the other side of the base and dropship warping like a pansy.

but wouldn't the rockets be VERY lame if u can't "absorb" it? there is no other way to get away from it.

who cares if they run? better for you, u can run after them and kill them as they try to heal! or just heal youself and keep fighting, either u die or you live, that's what Zone is about, right?

i think the old way was better, if you could get to your jetpack quick enough w/o dying on the old inventory screen, you deserve to live!

Rockets can't catch bikes very easily. Also, they're rockets. They're 25 a piece, and if someone's willing to waste a lot of money to try to kill someone, then the odds can be in their favor, provided they have control over the base and suitable protection to be able to effectively use the launcher. On another note, I think you can actually blow up rockets with mortar fire or a grenade/barrel explosion.

People care if they run, because the ones who run are usually the type that has the commando class. They run faster than your bullets.

The way things are looking right now, it seems like Zone's about how many "friendly medics" you can muster from the other side to unbalance the game.

Just make it so you can't use the jetpack if there's enemies within a set radius around your character or make jetpack have a set up time on it.
