Gui Window Skinning

Hallo peeps,

I've been experimenting with the Gui Windows and I've noticed they weren't set in a grid, and it was quite mallable how you could position your elements.

Anyone else noticed this? Any guides out there?

EDIT:

This is about as pliable as it is:

The elements can be any size as long as they are set out in a grid and have a red line between them.

Experiment and try it yourself

Here's one I did for Symp (although it does need work to make it match fully with their gui)

Actually, I think it doesn't even matter which color you are using. I guess it's just using the color in the first pixel (0, 0) as the grid color.

Someone posted a thorough guide on skinning GUI's and detailed about this. I don't have the link, though.

Thanks Rufus Helps alot.

If only I could get rid of the two pixel gap between the controlButtons

and allow the Close button to be bigger than the rest.

Although I could just make a new set of scripted buttons for those and make canclose, canminimize and canmaximize false.
