Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid)

Alright...
So I just upgraded my Ubuntu Linux 8.04 to 8.10 today.
And as I tried to open up Graal, I see some major problems as everything is just wierd, lol.
And idk if it's something about flash or w/e or if Graal doesn't support 8.10
I couldn't explain quite my problem, so I made some screenshots.
The first seconds before I took these screenshots, everything seemed fine, but a second after... this is what it looks like

Ubuntu 8.10 has a different way of handling graphics drivers, since the more recent X.org server is trying to automatically juggle drivers instead of following the xorg.conf and has also removed support for some older legacy graphics cards[1], so I don't know if it has anything to do with that. Are other programs that use 3D acceleration behaving as expected? Can you open the graal4console.log/F2 window and see if it mentions anything about hardware or software rendering?

I'm sorry but idk of any other programs that use 3D acceleration, maybe you can provide an example or something?
And I was able to check that F2 window, but I had to copy and paste the wierd text from the tabs onto notepad to see what it said, xD But I didn't find anything that read hardware or software rendering... only downloading of some heads, etc.

*edit*
Alright, I tried RuneScape on Low Detail (lmao) and it worked fine, so does those video sharing sites and flash sites like newgrounds... I might try counter-strike 1.6 if I download it later, would that work?
I tried Google Earth and I can only see outlines of the states and counties, the roofs of houses will barely pop up as I zoom in and out
