A compilation of tiles I've created and a lot from this thread. Some stuff don't work but still - I had fun experimenting with it.

Free tileset used as a old tileset for the server leafae im not using these tiles anymore so I'll donate it. Anyone and any server is allowed to use these tiles and if anyone modifies these tiles and claim as own then thats not right follow the COPY LEFT rule and we'll all be cool

I request that you remove the parts I let you use, I gave you permission to use them, I didn't however give you permission to redistribute as though it's you're own work. Fair enough, no?

Cheers.

Those cliff corners, are they use in layers? And are those custom tiles for the sides of the cliffing?

They don't have to be used in layers and they are custom for the sides and top. The cliffing in Wan's screenshots can be done with the tiles he provided and without the use of layers. :]

That's correct Crono; them tiles are actually used on the right side of the tileset located within the Volcanic area.

It looks like those use a non-default grass background in them tho. I think with layers you can use transparency right? So making it transparent would be more usefull?

Oh yes, with gonstruct it's easy to implement them so you can use them on multiple surfaces (providing you add the transparency yourself).

I regret not using the program for the overworld I'm currently developing as I believe gonstruct will completely change how we develop levels providing there are developers out there willing to master it (I got introduced to it by Ziro and had additional support from Dusty). It's a shame I haven't got the time to make an overworld with the program, although; I did try and convert the current world I have to it but it did seem like such a ball ache with the layers and the material I have already I didn't want to re-tile it.

Good luck with whatever you're doing

I probably would have wrote a program in c# to open the graal levels and replace them for me if I already had a overworld I needed to add tilelayers to. I used to use the Graal Editor and then open them in notepad and insert the layers manually untill I was shown Gonstruct a LONG time ago. It really is nice. I was just curious. I love the cliffing style tho.
