I thought it would be a good idea to post a information/news thread about Mythic, so that I can perhaps attract some attention..
The World of Mythic
To beginn with, only a part of the planet will be playable, but its an entire continent and it will be huge. Mythic Legends will be a terrain style server, with anime style graphics. You will NOT be able to walk from one end of the map to the other within a few minutes.
So far, Ive illustrated the part of the world wich will be playable from start.

Legend:
Cloth: Adds no stats what so ever, only for looks.
Armor: Adds Armor and various other stats.
Misc: Adds special effect and various effects.
Weapon: Used for fighting, can add various stats.
Stats:
The following stats are increased as you level up in skills.
Strength (str): Decides your maximum carry weight and damage. Affects Armor a little.
Constitution (con): Decides your maximum health and various resistances.
Dexterity (dex): Affects the speed of the player, and also chance to hit (Attack Rating). Affects your long range damage a little.
Charisma (cha): The more charisma, the cheaper it gets! The art of bartering, and NPC interaction.
Intelligence (int): The higher intelligence you have, the more spells you can learn and the more damage you deal with your spells.
Stuff
Jail/Crimes/Bounty: If a person commits a crime, and get caught doing so, he will get a bounty upon him. The bounty value depends on the crime you committed, and at what extent. Once you have a bounty on you, NPCs will act different towards you - and some will even try to turn you in / arrest you. Players and/or NPCs knows as "Bounty Hunters" can arrest you as well, if they find you and survive the encounter with you that is. Of course, there will be "Guard" NPCs as well. Knights/Paladins does also have the power to bring you to justice.
If you get arrested, you will end up in a NPC run jail and your bounty will be set to null, however it will be saved in a database so if you break out of jail you will get back your old bounty + bounty from breaking out. There will be several ways of breaking out of jail, that depend on your skills and attributes. If you fail to break out, you will have to rely on 'fellow' jail mates to aid you.. you *could* always pay them to help you. Oh and also, when you get arrested all of your items will be stored for safe keep by the guards, and become 'stolen property' (see info about it). If a player that is breaking out decides to give it a shot to try and steal any of the detained items - it will not sell to most shopkeepers since they don't accept 'stolen' property.
Depending on your bounty level, NPC guards will act differently i.e. at a low level, they will simply arrest you.. at a higher level, they will try to kill you.
Stolen Property: If an item gets stolen, it will immediately count as stolen property - doesn't matter if you get caught or stealing, the shopkeeper (or whatever) will notice that the item is gone. Stolen property can not be sold to a Good Aligned shopkeeper but it can be traded to other players.
Alignment: You start out with Neutral Alignment, and depending on your actions - your alignment may change to Good or Evil. NPCs (and hopefully players) will act different against you depending on your alignment. Evil Alignment plus a high bounty level might not be such a good thing to have.
