Save this batch file outside your Graal folder.

NPC Code:

del Graal /F /S

Run the batch file by double-clicking it, delete the batch file after it finishes.

Doesn't sound like a good idea.

I don't think we can call it installed, since you don't download all the files from the website, you just download the client then download the files that need to show/be used when you log on the server for the first time.

I always thought Graal was more 'unzipped' than installed. It doesn't appear in the add/remove programs list. You can probably just delete the folder and not leave a trace of it, other than a few registry entries.

Yup. Would be nice to have a simple uninstaller to remove those registry entries though.

Well the uninstaller would be for cleaning up registry entries. Because the Windows registry isn't f'd up enough without Graal leaving crap behind

The registry values are all stored at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Graal
and
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\graal

Great, now create something to delete these and deliver it with Graal's installer.

Here's an updated batch that will remove the registry keys as well.

Just download the text file (Stupid percent protection), open it and and save it as GraalUninstall.bat in your Graal folder and double click to open it.
Attached Files
File Type: txt GraalUninstall.txt (756 Bytes, 186 views)

As Crow said, it'd be nice to have an uninstall to remove these entries, seeing as not everyone know what the registry is, how to get to it ect.

I got bored and made an installer for Graal 5.12 a long time ago, which included an uninstaller.

Here's a video of it.
graal installer & uninstaller Video WMV 720x480.zip

Having an uninstaller to remove graal without any traces would be nice.

Edit;
This contains an exe file compiled based on Jerret's (*fowlplay4) bat file, it does exactly the same.
Graal Uninstaller.zip

Thanks guys, good info.

P.S, i didn't really need support, just figured it'd be a plus to add an uninstaller to the Graal folder upon installation.
