The latest beta version is considerably slower than the current release. We're told it will improve in the next release, but right now, I've been using the public version (5.12) on Windows. Even some of the earlier betas are faster than the current (TSAdmin can confirm this, too). The only significant improvement in performance in the betas right now is particles, which are almost competitive with the Mac client in reducing FPS.

Any systems that rely on large timevar2 numbers, most text based images/GUI elements need to be adjusted as well since they appear bolded and 2 pixels bigger in V6.

There's also random images that need to be fixed as well since they are rendered different in V6 for whatever reason.

Sounds like the beta client should have been distributed to at least all the Classic server developers... I'm sure going to have fun fixing the 12434 GUIs on Valikorlia.
