-But when it comes to G3D, they aren;t ready to show a preview... you should know nothing is relieced ontime when it comes to graal... what do you want them to do, let you preview a 1/2 finnished thing? That makes no sence... they can only offer the G3D preview when it's ready to be previewed...

Besides those 2 things, I think VIP got everything else listed, which is why I say it's still a good deal....

That's now what I orderd, again.
I don't want a preview, I'd just like something decent enough to call a refund other than lame webhosting crap
No doubt it's good, but I say
"Why in hell pay, when you have to wait for the expectations to happen?"
It's like a lie to us all, or something to make money from (No doubt that's what it looks like, correct me if I'm wrong on this).
Last point I'm stating, I orderd to get what I thought would be done soon, not extra crap what isn't needed. Can't you just make the other stuff without having all this new stuff?

Even though I complimented on unixmad's website decision, it's pretty much useless since I know a place where you can get 300 MB, "unlimited" bandwith, and some nice features for free.

Is it me or has VIP been nothing but "We're going to ___" since day one? Ok we got the 'test' v3. Big whoopy? I could care less if the damn thing came out today or next week. Now everything else has been a "we're working on it" or "we're going to finish it in a while dont worry!".

Rather than giving VIP's special things they simply took away a right or two from gold to make it look like vip's are getting something. (guilds)

Before you start barking at me about how vip is cheaper, I am gold+vip. (dont even bring up the "omfg u payd so u desrv it mofulolol1!1". -_-;

I think the point of VIP was to create a cheaper version of gold, for non-GK players

Don't blame others for your poor assumptions. You knowingly paid for something that wasn't available at the time, thus YOU are to blame for any inconvenience.

The VIP forums wont be available untill there is something to talk about other than "when is G3D coming out?". If it is released now it will just be a spam forum, which is bad. If you really need to spam, go to the guild forums.

So why did they include it in the packedge when it isn't ready, it's their fault as much as ours.
And? atleast there will be another thing added what is suppose to be added to our package what has came. Instead of being later

They might as well just make a "VIP" server where vip's just hang out, share stuff, and get to "test" scripts made by GST's or stefan. I'm pretty sure a lot of newbies get active when they see stefan .

That and have ghosts disabled so only VIP's are allowed. ;

My suggestion above involved VIP, does that mean that it is un-appropiate?

No, go ahead. :O
But its forum suggestions that they are looking for here, maybe it would be a good idea for a total new thread for suggestions for VIP-Only services/additions.

Idea:
Spelling checker... one with an american/english checker, so those who used it aren't forced into one. This way those people who skipped school and should be able to spell can spell, because it will do the work for them.

meany

I was just never good at spelling

I doubt anyone would use it... most people who misspell, don't really care if it's right or not...

I kind of like the idea of a spell check, that way I have more reason to make fun of people who misspell

The test server sounds fun, but then I'd have to join GST to get in on the fun (for practicality's sake, I do need testers from time to time so I'm not just reffering to my preference to screw around with joke scripts)

Display mods for individual forum areas again? Dont know if that has already been said.

I dont really understand why thats hidden now, all I see that doing is making it a little more difficult for people to know which individuals they can go to when an issue arises.

Yeah, it would be a smidge easier to have it next to the forum itself, or at the top of the forum listing. So if you're lagging like a felon, you can get to the PM A Moderator link one page faster

Expanding on one of my earlier ideas...

forum members with GOLD accounts, should have a gold nickname on the forums
:o
VIP members should recieve a Star next to their name...

people with both would obviously get a gold name, and a star

Also, would there be a way to make it so that any time someone says the name of someone else, it makes the name into a link to that person's profile?

like I say... "did you hear what Unix said in the other thread?" and then unix would make a link to his profile
:o
(just a random idea... doesn't surve much of a purpose, exept that it would help people who do know know who you are talking about

Tricky with nicknames though right? I mean even in that example, "Unix" could mean the operating system or Unixmad. Then what of MagicalTux9728? Does Tux mean him or MagicalTux or the user "Tux"?

I'd avoid it altogether

I'd like to see the set of icons I went to the trouble of making implemented, or at least ultimately rejected. :-P

nah, just for the hello/goodbye/happy birthday forums (hey, lets add b-days to the hello/goodbyes instead of just making another forum, they'd both be regularly lower-traffic forums anyway)

That was my idea
:o
exept I said to make it so that the hello/goodbye and happy birthday areas do not increase post count

since those are the 2 types of threads where a lot of people just post 'bye' even if they don;t know the person o.o or they say 'happy birthday' even if they've never heard of the guy.

Not in the NGRT. That is really the only forum I post in. Stupid idea. There can be meaningful debates/posts in the NGRT.

I agree, the NGRT has a lot of valid discussion and the posts should count.

However, the hello/goodbye/happy birthday forum shouldn't increase your posts.

I think it would be cool to see when a thread was started, and not just the last post info on the far right.
