Also, if not made clear earlier. Captains can jail someone even if they are in a different zip then the captain but ONLY if police of that zip are not on. Also, all hiring goes through me still, so don't worry about seeing five thousand new officers online.

They should need like a minimum of three or 4 (some on in the morning - US, and some on at night. different countries, etc.)

What if no "crimes" seem to be happeneing in a certain Polices' lookout place thing? Don't you think he'll get bored, go off tag, or offline, and roam around going about the average graalian thing?

First police squad which first started with a chat with Fuitad (He started all of this) I was one of the people there to be the first police. First we are ridiculed I remember this well by Aiko or Aido I forgot his name its been so long, he was a NK and toall: links to a sight full of comics that basically degraded us. Right now Im going a wee bit off topic, what I really wanted to state was.

Fuitad told us what it will be like, no roleplay, we just ban, suspend hackers. When I came up with the idea of the police station (which I purposely settled next to my own town, a bit greedish because I wanted it to be apart of my town anyways) to jail the players, ofcourse people found a way to exploit and we made this wacked out place, I wanted to roleplay yes, with the small jails with some beds, but in the end it didnt work out.

Im not against this idea, Im just saying it wont work out.

Much like I explained to you on Graal, zips are being kept seperate from kingdoms. I respect their place, and making you captain over the area of the samurai would be invading their kingdom.

Exactly. That's why it's a "max" anyways.
And with 1,100 registered accounts, that's only 5.8% of the population.

Not to mention, Alkaren will "never" allow that many people to be hired.
Soto, obviously, will probably be the only person to accomplish the max.

We should make it a company town... that would make the entire Antora Lobby house elligable to fill those 7 slots

Okay, I love the Captains idea. What I don't like is having so many captains, and only allowing them to preside over one certain area. I mean, late at night, only one police officer on. Someone wants the officer to monitor a trade, only the trade is not in his area. He goes, monitors it anyway, and the guy is scammed in front of the officer. The officer can't jail the scammer, but has to wait for someone from that area to come on just to jail the scammer, by that time the scammer would have logged off or sold the item or something. So, I don't like the zips thing. Not a single bit. I might be able to live with so many captains, but the zips, no way, I hate the idea.

Iracious, did you not see my other post? Maybe you hadn't read it at the time you posted this, but I posted that Captains can arrest other people in a different zip. This is incase no officers of that zip are on at that time.

Dont You guys see this is a great idea?
Before all police were in bomboria for most of there time on graal haging out at the markets, when other crimes were being commited like at the mines and stuff,
Now in this way they are spread out around Graal 2001 covering more ground, This might even reduce people in Bomboria and make them spread out more causeing less lag, (it could happen, its been done).

This is alos a great idea because Ive never seen it before, and most things are just copied off of something else and changed, but i have NEVER seen this type of Police force on graal, which I think is great,.

The max amount of police could just about be needed, cos now if any 1 member of police is on the whole server can be kailed, but with this system if on ordinary police was (presumming they can still jail in thier area. correct?) then people would just avoid that area and the guy would be powerless. so a police from every area would need to be on at once

Also the 1115 or about that is the amount registered on the forums which wont be the total number off account

there is roughly 1100 accounts registered for p2p (i think someone said)
but not all of those accounts play
and im sure some of them have expired

I meant standard Police officers. Say that only one, standard Police officer, not a captain, is the only one online. He won't be able to do anything.

Hmn, I haven't been very open minded about this. I did not like what I read in the first post, so I sort of closed up to any new ideas relating to this, even though I have read and heard all the new ideas. I judged it before it was even finished, so, sorry. I'll try to not be as superficial in the future.

This is not a good idea, the quote "Don't fix it if its not broken"
comes to mind. Infact it will make the whole Police system difficult
and a headache for Police. If the Police Chief actually was smart
he would hire a even number of 20 Police, and make sure the
time zones are different so Police are always on. I was going to
do that as Chief but I had to leave due to making another server
( this is Mafukie BTW). But you guys are too stubborn to listen to
me and will do it anyway, so have fun.

Uhm, it's impossible for it to be "broken".
And we never said we were "fixing it".

Although, it really is.. since the other system is extremely flawed. That's why there are no stable GPs on Classic.

Graal2001 just created people claiming "corruption" when it introduced it. We planned to have it different anyways, but someone was desperate and just added Police to the server.

Who is to say it was never unfinished?

And in any case, what do you care?
