You mean staff accounts with the right to 'Change Staff Accounts'.

Yes, he can. But he knows he will get in risk of losing his own account as theirs a 90.00% chance
Uh, no. What's the difference between giving it to person X directly and giving it to him via a reported PM? This: If he reports those kinds of PMs, he's running the risk of good staff members finding it and punishing him.

Why do you take everything to the next level?

The point is...a kid is trying to be "cool". He decides he want's to quit the server and make damage to it. So, he tells him that his account expires, asks for another account to use. He, on his own fault, gives him the admin-playerworld1 account (saying the PW is #1). Now, he wants someone to trash the server for himself, so he doesn't get in trouble and has a excuse of "someone hacked the account". So, by him reporting it, the Police reads a report and notices an account. He then get's very excited he has a new account and can try to act "cool" by deleting a server and telling a bunch of friend's what he did. So, he logs on, asks for an IP change, deletes the server.

We all know it's the owner's fault for giving him the account, though so many are so trusting.

So, with this happening, wouldn't a report button be bad then?

As IF THIS HAPPENED then a report button has just trashed a server. Chances of this happening are probally 25.00% but it COULD still happen.

Anyway, it's JUST an example to put the report button in abuse.

Is that the 'rational scrutiny' level?

Or the kid just gives somebody the account information directly.

Again: The only difference is that the PM could be intercepted by an honorable staff member, making that method less efficient.

It's a stupid example. We'd actually prefer the account information to be reported, since there's less chance of it resulting in damage.

All I am saying is that the information can be given to the wrong hands.

Bad example:

A good example would be perhaps two people talking about how X staff isn't doing their job (being corrupt). Both of them are in the conversation, and it gets pretty awful (Convo),
Then one reports, gets the other banned.

Dude, are you even listening?

Any communication medium can be used in damaging Graal. But if there's already a medium that can be more easily abused then it's a moot point. There's no net reduction in security.
