^.^ Well I'm glad to see that more people have finally realized that the alchemy items have ruined several aspects of the game ^.^ He he, I told you guys that it was just wrong

Anyways hmmm... a new kingdoms server ... ok, when that goes up I may go there then. Boukon, I am very proud that you decided to get rid of the alchemy items... but ^.^ you could have just sold them to a shop keeper and got rid of them permanently ^.^ But a blood ring is nice ^.^ Oh and events items aren't really dishonorable, they are trophies that were obtained through victory no matter how bad of a cheater he/she was... but that is dishnoroble hmmm... anyways ^.^ the dragon amulets regeneration isn't that good, well it is good but you can kill someone way faster than they can regen when they are using that kind of equipment, but the resistances are nice. Well if the new server has balanced equipment then I shall spar a lot ^.^

well I felt like putting in my dime... hmmm perhaps I should call myself the phantom poster ;p.

Anyways I hope that things work out ^.^

Weren't you the one that proposed 5000 plat?....
Anyway, if anything should be removed, it's Event items, THOSE things give severe disruption, and the way they were gained, was that the people who won previous events won the later ones because they had better stuff, in general, Alchemy items should be kept, because many players often sell their alchemy items, and it's easier for newer players to get. Seriously, when was the last time YOU saw someone selling an event item?

Well looking around the rules etc it seems that they can take away the items and give us nothing if they want to... so we should be grateful of any money we all get for the illegal items, its pretty kind of stefan etc to be thinking of giving us any money at all.

Yeah i guess there was a lot of confusion around it, but it was nice of them to consider money, rather than just resetting everyone for abusing a bug

Yeah i think event items should really just be cooler looking rare equipment like the diamond force sword etc was, not rings/amulets/whatever that make you invincible.

Exactly! For example, Inferno sword is +10 damage, and it's an event item, and the strongest normal items are +9 damage, and 1 damage difference is no big difference whatsoever, but items like Blood Rings and Dragon Amulets x.x

My suggestion: Event items should have their own quests that ANYONE can do. Like, in other servers, you have quests that get you a lizardon shield (speed boost!) or more fullhearts, or new NPCs and such. I think this server should have quests that people can do to get event items, so it's fair for everyone, and it should be something that...if you drop the item, it becomes "reclaimed by the gods" and if you don't have one in your inventory, then you can do the quest (that way uber strong people wouldn't complete the quest, store the item somewhere and then get more and sell them all, and also, you can't put god-granted items into sacks or something, so there goes that way of avoiding things, and also, if you drop the item somehow, you can always do the quest again to reclaim it.)

That is totally stupid. I was gone for a month so I couldnt participate in any event to win soccer boots or monkey sandals of gust or dwarven warhammers and you dont see me complaining. If everyone could get it, that would defeat the purpose of winning the event, there shouldn't be a quest for event items. Event items come from events. If you want one, go buy it or win it from an event.

Dude events arent always fighting events anymore. Most of them are card events or something else so don't give me that crap that you cant win. Instead of strength, the events depend on luck now.

I find it interesting that the lucky people are the same ones that won the other events.

Either way, what is done is done, and the imbalance exists from previous events (corrupt ones no doubt as well).

Here is why it sux: a weak person wins a rare item from an event. A strong person buys it for like 5k and that's like nothing to him.
