More info on the problem....

I did several tests, here are the results...

When I use addtiledef with pics1.png, it works.

When I rename pics1.png and do addtiledef, it doesn't work.

When I do addtiledef with a thing called pics, then use a NPC to open a tileset other then pics1, it doesn't work.

When I open a image using pics1.png as tiles, then open a tileset other then pics1.png it doesn't work.

When I replace pics1.png with my tileset, renamed to pics1.png, then use a NPC and open the same tileset with a different name, it doesn't work.

Those are the results...I really need help

I'm gonna try naming it pics2, 3, 4....

There could be a possibility the graphic was not saved in 256 color so the tiles screw up like that.

Thats what I thought at first, then I opened it and made sure...it was 256 colors. Even after that, I took a piece of the image, name it test.png, and tested it...it worked fine. So I know it doesn't have anything to do with the number of colors.

Calling it pics2 didn't help either, Stefan could you tell what could possibly be wrong?
