Now that we don't have GP's the FAQ's should send out the rules pm. In case you don't know what i'm taking about i'll quote the message.

Because of the accumulation of scamming we need to take radical measures against it.

That doesn't mean you don't need to take care of your stuff!

1. Don't let another player "test and hold" your items, especially if they're valuable.

2. Always trade on the tables; this is because we have logs to prove the traded actually existed.

3. If someone insists on "trying" your gear before they buy it you should make sure they give you collateral. This way they have less influence to scam your gear, and if they do - you can keep theirs! We don't restore any lost items!!! (This includes items burried in the ground or items lost due to scamming).

AGAIN: We don't restore any lost items! (Buried items in the ground nor by getting scammed)

Unless all this as a case arises we will ban players that repeatedly scam and betray others!
We don't accept people that disturb other player's fun by scamming, harassing, insulting and so on.

OTHER ILLEGAL AND BANNABLE OFFENSES INCLUDE:

- Advertising items, or accounts for real money on Graal Kingdoms, or any other Graal Online service/server.

- Using bugs to get advantages.

- Advertising or trading any kind of items or accounts from or for other onlinegames.

TRANSACTION ID NUMBERS should not be given out to anyone, as they can be used to gain control of your account. And, in addition, such details do not allow anyone to upgrade your account, so if they offer you an upgrade asking for such details do not give them out because (1) this is a scam to take your account (2) giving them these details do not allow them to upgrade your account.

Well thats not really their job to do. Thats more Sam/Bjorn and GP's jobs since FAQ can't pillor or ban anyone.

No, that's the job of ALL staff members.
...and if I'm not very wrong, it fits to FAQ staff to inform players about all game related stuff.

You could make it easier to find this website that you have. Just logging into GK I see no help websites or information to point you to one. Hit F8 and when you select a server, you should see the information to get help or instructions about that server, a sort of general guidelines to what it's all about. Bjorn's website for one could be advertised there.

Actually good sites could be for lots of servers, I don't think thats the problem.

Why I didn't put mine somewhere there so far is because I'm not completly done with it. But if you suggest it and other people like it too then we should find a place and list GK helping sites or the sites of kingdoms somewhere.
I'm doing good progress to finish it and I think it will be done and tested before christmas.

That may get annoying, maybe every login..

I think FAQs should have the power to enforce rules, as well as inform people of the rules.
I think a lot of players look at FAQs as people they can rely on when something is wrong, because FAQs are there to answer their questions when they are confused, but if someone is harassing them, there isn't much we can do. Maybe FAQs should take the GP's old job as well, and kill two birds with one stone.

Hell no to GP rights....don't push for more rights Tig. As I see it FAQ are doing their job fine. If people have a problem with harassment,scamming etc. just direct them to support center to report it.

Your job is to help inform people. If you want GP job then bug Bjorn to bring them back and apply for it. Maybe if you wait long enough they will give you pillory rights. The problem with that is it only works on gold accounts..so its pretty useless if a trial is harassing/scamming someone.

Having FAQs send it out might create a belief that FAQs can jail/ban/etc. It shouldn't be hard to just have the NPC server send it to each player on their first login and then once a month after that or something.

Direct it to a support ticket and get a response a couple days later when they could just immediately direct it to a FAQ? Hmm... sounds like a case of terrible 'support'.

I don't want a GP job, I want a FAQ job, but massing stuff about stuff like scamming and such people think that we have such powers and they come to us with their problems and all we can tell them is "I can't do anything, write a support ticket."

Then thats all you can do Tig. You don't need pillory/ban rights. That will send the wrong message to people. If you need someone to pillor I am usually on and can be found on GK..if not the on Zone. Doesn't take long to find me.

Won't it be easier if Tig just had Pillor himself it would save time and you might not be online if he needs you.

I don't know where someone like yourself gets off telling me what I need or don't need. I know of many servers that have FAQs with ban rights and 'jail rights' (pillory) but I know of no server where the events team has 'jail rights' and stuff, but considering we're both staff, maybe we should both have pillory. I can't always find you, Ravenblade, our time zones are different and like today, you have plans 'in real life' that's why you had to hold the event so early.

Well then ask for pillory rights just be warned that trials can't be pillored so if they scam or harass someone you can't do anything about it.
