Many of you know about the playerworld of Metropolis. It was planned to be a real life simulation server with good graphics by HIM/Jakk and Tony Rivers. Sadly, Tony Rivers has quit the playerworld development, and we do not know if we will continue the development of the playerworld. Sorry to say that, but if we change our minds, we will let you all know.

Eh, we had some issues. We hired some ex Era staff who tried to change it to a gun server like Bravo happened. So we had to make a few changes, and now it's kinda dead. No one does anymore development on it. Though, we might try and get Tony back and have something to do with like a few of us. We will keep you updated.

What's up with this?
Everyone seems to be having trouble managing a playerworld.
The reliable looking playerworlds, crumble all the time.
You people get a clue, stop making your own playerworlds now and just merge with others, seems like the only way to get something done.

Stupid bloody era. Stefan should ban guns on playerworlds, and just ban era altogether...and ban its regular players so that they don't pollute decent ones! =x

Era is a good playerworld no doubt. People have all their different tastes in themes, but I think the main thing is, when you try and make another theme of a playerworld that already exists, then people start taking ideas from the playerworld and try to change it to make it seem different, and then everyone does the same and it turns into chaos.

Anyways, later on I will post some screenshots of what has been done currently and go on from there. If people do like it more, I will try and get everyone back together and accomplish it I guess.

Well when all development came to a halt I decided to call it quits not to mention I had issues with some staffers cant keep everyone happy you know. The attack on our levels along with 3 of our team members running out of gold time didn't help. looks like smoke droped off the face of the planet or was driven away by jesta who seems to always cause trouble with my most hard working staff. Including the GFX admin and the Levels admin. Galdor quited to go make symphony and gabnid has vanished. R0bin never stoped by though he assured me he would. And as for HIM well he hasnt made a single thing for metropolis in about a year.

My staff team was ripped to shreds so fast right before my eyes. No work was being done we literaly consisted of a scripter a gani maker and myself. Well then a person said he was inspired by the server and imagined it could be a 1930's mafia type server I guessed it would be a good idea to start over with a fresh plan to get the ball rolling but the 2 staff I had left ovbiously had a problem with it so I scraped the idea and hung around for a while waiting for a new feature to be scripted never got done I got sick of the project and came to the point where I was no longer inspired to make anything I told jesta I was going to ethier redo everything or quit needless to say I took the easy way out.

let this be a lesson to you don't blink because bad things can happen in an instant and ruin your playerworld.

Even though Metropolis died Tony, don't stop doing GFX, you're too good at it xD. Talk to me on AIM too, I have a plan to revive it, and we might need some working staff. Mostly levels I'm thinking so we can have a developed PW, since all we do have is like...maybe 6 levels of insides and outsides for show O_o. Anyways, we'll get back to ya soon I guess.

I am noticing that a lot of promising playerworlds are stopped and destroyed because of staff problems.

I think before you begin a playerworld you should learn to develop everything needed for that playerworld to be successful. Like in a business, start in the lowest position like the mail room and work your way up to CEO. By the time you have reached CEO you would have learned how to do every job in your business.

I guess what I am trying to say is don't let the success of your playerworld be held hostage by the individuals you hire.

Maybe not on Zenith, since the server is going to go poof in a few days, but it's hosted on another playerworld . I'll give more info soon I guess.
