If pearl diving isnt the best anymore then mining is the second. Given it hasn't changed like pearl diving.

I say farming since you get like 8-16 apples and each 4 apples gets you about 8g by making apple pies.

Pearl diving isn't spectacular. It now takes 5 white pearls to get one gralat. I can do that by making a loaf of bread for Bako or whatever his name is, much more expedient that way.

I don't really mind the fact it now takes five pearls to get a gralat; last night, when I was pearl diving before one of the larger auctions, I had nearly 18 pink pearls in a span of around 10 minutes. Just have patience and you'll usually get a very decent amount. No one said that pearl diving should be as easy as it used to be. This is a low-scale economy, people, not an insta-1k rich scheme.

I'd still go with pearl diving.
True you now need 5 white pearls to get one gralat but there is still pink pearls which are one gralat per pearl and it's not like they're that rare either.
If anything I see more pink and black pearls than I do white pearls.
