Something like this...
Each kingdom has a bank, players can make 1 account at the bank, make deposits, withdrawls. Like a real bank you can get interest with the more money you invest. When a kingdom needs money for say a cannon the leader or govenor goes to the bank to make a loan. The kingdom as a whole pays back the bank with tax money it collects from its citizens. Thus keeping the cycle going, and there is a valid reason for the bank to have interest. The kingdom should not be able to make more that 2 loans and there should be a upper limit on how much can be loaned. If the kindgom doesn't pay back its loan in the given date to be payed back. The bank suspends the kingdoms loaning ability and when it finally gets payed back there is a penalty of X days or X weeks before they can take out a loan again. If a citizen makes a loan and cannot pay it back they should have to do something. Slave labor (say at the mines or something), get throw in jail, be a frontline soldier in the army. Anyone else have ideas for that? I do think the bank manager should definatly be a NPC. I have no knowledge of scripting, level making, or anything so how hard would this be to implement?
What do you all think?
