Something I tried making for fun

I thought I'd try making some sort of chinese/japanese type buildings like a pagoda for fun. Here is a beta version of them I guess.

That truly does kick ass. Now all you need to do is clean up some of the tile errors by replacing them with GIFs.

I like it. Mabye instead of putting NPCs at every tile error we could make custom tiles for them.

Dude I suck with graphics if I cant make it with tiles. I cant make it at all. The tile errors are intentional as I was working with what I had. Although I like the thouht of custom tile sheets more than graphics but seeing as how I cant make either.

I may try my hand at some custom tiles for it. However, I need to get around to re-installing some of my paint programs.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Just take the problematic tiles, modify them slightly so they don't make tiling errors, and save them as gifs and you're set.

That's beyond what I can do. I can barely draw stick figures with photoshop.

eh, I did some light work on it.
(sorry that it is .bmp, I have no programs to change it with)

It's pretty rough, and I only changed a few things just to show how it would look.

Aye,
Madmartigan has sent me the outside of the castle turned into a walled in area with a three story pagoda in the middle,
and a few other one story buildings around it. It is great and if ya want I can try and edit the inside so it can be split into three different buildings, and then i guess birdbird or someone could upload it.

Birdbird thinks a giant pagoda would be better instead of the one I had made. So I have one now that is about 5 stories tall and takes up almost an entire level. o.o Not sure I like it as much as my original though,

I came up with that on my own. At first it was only 2d and flat then I had to figure out how to make it three dimensional. On the left side if you look you can still see my first attempt. What server has china town? o.o
