Samurai On 2k1

I Think That We All Pretty Much Know That Samurai On 2k1 Is Dead. I've Tried Many Times To Bring It Back. It Seems That No One Ever Wants To Wear Their Tags, And Even When I Think I Have Memebers, They Only Last A Day. Such A Waste. Maybe 2k2 Will Hold A Better Future For Samurai...

when ever i actually get arround to playing Graal online...I always wear my Santerrain tag. I normally just chase around pirates and what not, and try to have some fun. I H is always on, but he's too busy worring about policing (or whatever he does) to RP with Samurai, and he refuses to give up his Emperor position to people that actually still get on.

I have people PMing me all the time asking to join, but where is IH? Not at Santerrain, that's for sure.

I don't get on Graal much these days. Whenever I'm on G2k1 I wear my tag, but G2k1's lost a lot of its fun for me, so I'm usually on playerworlds. When G2k2 comes out, it may or may not cause a reemergence of the Samurai, depending on how good it is.

I See No Point In Getting On 2k1 Anymore. It's Completely Boring. I Do Agree That IceHawk Isn't On Enough To Actually Make A Difference. I Will Hopefully Play On 2k2 If Those Mother ****ing Bastards Ever Release It (Sorry For The Cussing - I'm In A Bad Mood, And They're Taking Too Long To Finish It). In The Meantime, I'll Be Playing RtCW And Dransik For The Majority Of My Computer Time, Graal 2k1 = Waste Of Time For Me. If You Wanna Play Another Game, Go To http://www.drasnik.com , It's Pretty Fun Once You Get Acquainted With It...

I love how everyone sais how they hate Karakaze yet it's one of the only kingdoms that is good. Zormite is almost dead, Elven is dead, Dustari's RPers are dumb as hell, and Samurai is dying. That just leaves Pirates and Karakaze as well as Orc.

Congradulations, you just named the three most hostile, innept, stupid, and with only a few exceptions, none of that trinity of Kingdoms has very many decent roleplayers. While I'll admit that all kingdoms have some bad Role Players, those kingdoms have a much more inproportunate ratio.

No offense, Yves, but seriously, SHUT UP about the dumb RPers bit. Just to let you know, I seem to recall being told by Sisok and a number of others to recruit newbies, simply because Kingdoms needed people and life! Now you see why I was very strict about recruiting a few months ago, except that everyone got on my case about it, including you a couple times.

Whether you like it or not the world isn't a perfect damn place, you can't have a Kingdom full of wonderful RPers everywhere because a substantial population of good RPers DOES NOT EXIST on Graal. Much less 2001.

I guess that makes them very easy to roleplay, then. At any rate, I don't see what the whole problem is with random PKing. Sometimes real-life people decide they want to go on a killing spree. Usually they then spend the rest of their life in prison, but in medieval times they didn't have the same kinds of laws surrounding murder, and there were no police. Now, that's not to say I'm going to come on G2K1 and start slaughtering. For that, there's a dozen non-RP playerworlds, and you can usually avoid non-PKers by only attacking people with low AP.

I actually love all the newbies jumping around RPing, most of them know how to the capacity of their characters. what I dont like are the character's whose power grows without criticitism, it makes RPing very hard. Some of your mages, and Deformed Demon recruits show this

About the "Evil Axsis of Kingdoms", I honestly enjoy the PC's company, I've seen quite a few good roleplayers on there and Armored Ear usually comes into the castle everyday to drink our beer. The Orc I despise. Two people on does not a kingdom make-and that's been their current population thesedays. I have seen a grand total of 0 good RPers spawn from this close relative of the primortial ooze. Then the Karakaze, I have seen a handful of exellent RPers and the rest of them I wouldn't touch with a sixty three and a half inch pole. Each Evil kingdom, however, does mirror and rival one of the "Good Kingdoms". I'd think Zormite and PC would compete for control of the seas, Karakaze and Dustari for land, wealth , and power, and then Orc and Samurai.....though thats only process of elimination.

NO it should go how it used to go in the old days:
Samurai and Dustari: hate each others guts, due to Dustari aggression against the farming lands years ago
Zormite and Pirate Crew: hating each other due to control of the seas, and the the Krakken attacks on the pirates
Karakaze: a small band of people, with a hatred toward the Dustari, and a territory battle with the Zormites, the Karakaze are a band welcome in the lands of Santerrian, and the southern seas of the Pirate Crew
Orcs: barely above the beasts of the world, the Orcs wage war all across the West of Graal, making friends with the Karakaze due to their music, and alcohol.

Why does everyone seem to want to kill us. If the Orcs only attack Wester Graal, that's just us and Atanora. And Samurai seems to be on friendly terms now. Don't live in the past. Just play there.

thats the reason Samurai died, THEY HAD NO ONE TO FIGHT. You cannot seriously run a kingdom with no conflict, that is what makes the game fun!

But you can't also set in stone the diplomatic relations of all kingdoms. There will always be some people who hate a certain group no matters what happens. This more so seems to apply to Dustari, but other kingdoms as well. I remember when Zormites and Dustari were in a ruthless month long war and then we turned allies hrough a military coup. It's interesting to see things develop.

We Were Too Peaceful, I Agree...But IceHawk And I Always Wanted To Have Wars, But Either 1. No One Was On To Have A War, Or 2. The People That Were On Didn't Want To Do It. Nastazio Was Also Always Up Our Ass About Wars, And How Peaceful The Samurai Were, And How He Wished Dante Was Back...What An Ass. Now That I Look Back On It, I Wish I Would've Kicked His Ass The First Time He Made A Remark Like That. We Were Just Having Fun...Hopefully 2k2 For The Kingdoms Will Be Like It Was Back In The Old Days, And Will Have Lots Of Wars. Only Time Will Tell...
