Playerworld Galery

Could there be a Playerworld Galery? There are so many now that you cant just go on one and find a good, but owners could post screenshots into a galery and get interrested players with that.

x.x thats what I was trying to establish with www.graalunderground.org, So we can have screenshots of the best parts of Playerworlds and what their developement is pulling out of their butts but someone deleted my post about it and then advertised theirself, but hey doesnt matter. Whenever my FTP works i will go from server to server to ask them if they could send me screenshots so we can see their "lovely" server.

An offical playerworld project may start soon, I have yet to talk to Stephane about it. But if so we could have a gallery.

Why not just have it so that everytime a playerworld (dev or not) is added they get a section (hidden or unhidden) in the screenshot gallery on www.graalonline.com? You should also have it so that sucky screenshots dont make it >_>; We dont want people to see them now do we? To moniter screenshots and accept/decline them you should have a global staff also be in charge of taking care of screenshots.

x.x I have half of that! i once before hired a Playerworld Administration member so he could keep up with that, Jinx i think, it was for GU2 which failed because I couldnt do the quests on Classic, this one is ment for Graal In General, but Guides arent all that easy to keep up with, If each PW would have their own Guilds i could link it up, but yea.

Guides not walkthroughs. That would spoil the game if we had walkthroughs for every server.

I like the idea I would be more than happy to colaborate with someone on such a thing my PW is a small not known one. But I think it would be good for people that dont know a good way to get the name of their PW out there.

By guide I think he means just little bits to get you started on the quests and such but not give it all away.

basicly a manuel of "how things work"
being that alot of new servers have complex systems (Gileada does) they will need alot of explaining x.x

But I am all for this idea that graal undergroud looks fine but the only problem is it needs someone like a global or someone that has "athority" people arnt just gonna listen to any one

Well I think I will start doing something similar over the holiday break. Then maybe I can link it in with current graal systems.

I do have a big name on Graal, I am well known. I am one of the longest playing players there are left, I've played since around June 7, 1998 , i have been Global Graphics, Classic GP, and am GC. I am just well known but yea doesnt mean anything but You Don't need to be Global to have a Picture Album? Its just as easy to do HTML and hit alt 2 for a normal players as it is to Globals

A small part of that money paid for a server could be used to put up a small site for that particular playerworld. Or at the very least, it could be included with the purchase.

k if you buy me an actual domain.... SURE........, because I'm not even using my own host . When graal.net was like an actual site instead of Statistics they had Players helping. I remember Dark Moon. thats all lol
yea. I have news, screen shots, and i'm not too good with reviews, I was going to get someone for that at www.graalunderground.org because LAST TIME i tryed to review, i was told I don't need to try out for the playerworld team. I can go from playerworld to playerworld to get FAQ/Info/All That Snuff.

I didnt mean that you werent well known it is just no matter how well known you are, people will listen to a global cause they feel intimdated by them while if they were an ass to someone (no matter how popular they are) it wouldn't hurt them to much save some other players getting mad.
Only stating the facts not trying to put ne one down or ne thing =)

Something along those lines. Basically, just use GO's current website design as a template for the rest. Each playerworld would use its own graphics for logos, icons, etc. with the exception of what needs to remain Graalonline branded. The top bar would be left alone. The side bar could contain things a little more pertinent to that paricular playerworld such as a specific screenshot of the day. Otherwise, just use the same thing that is used to update the news with images and so forth. It'd be basic, but it would look nice and professional.

It would be at the very least a good option for those that don't want to use crappy free hosts or have to pay money for a seperate webspace.
