I was thinking when you worship a god. When you get to low level grace (100/50)

Your wand maybe gets transformed..

If you worship brigid

You get your wand like colored green and has some vines around it.

Luecetious, maybe something that looks like a bolt of lightning (maybe it just turns yellow and glows a little blueish like the spell lightning)

ogma, (it turns purple, and uhh...does something x.x)

dianchect (it turns into like a white/yellow colored wand and glows white)

govannon (your wand turns like into steel.. or something)

aengus... no clue yet for aengus all I know is like elven god..

Balor (it turns red, and glows like a inferno/flaming sword sorta)

Quite a lot of gfx... if done properly, I'd love to see a vine, or a jolt of lightning as wands, but what if someone sells theirs and transforms another? They should be avaliable somewhere, at a price, or for worshipping, but you should be able to sell them, just to have more diverse wands avaliable...

In addition, make Bile's a bone... Aengus I'd give a twig

Yes, I see your point and I agree that it'd add to the game, given you can find someone to do proper gfx for them. They should be hard to get, too.
If wands could be fitted with atributes, they could carry the god's repelled and atuneds...

I got a good idea... but there are people who use the auto button things.. so its not that good of a idea..

maybe make it so that gods take sacrifices or something...

like if you try to get dian's wand you have to bring 20 demon hearts to the shrine and drop them

then pray for atleast 45 minutes..

you know, like a gods enemy or something close to a gods enemy...

or maybe like 5 diamonds/saphire/emerald/ruby of exceptional beauty..

that would make it rather challenging

I can't tell you how frustrated I got trying to bless my wand (erm, yeah actually, I -DID- try that...)

Yeah we need blessable wands! They'd become attuned for something then too, or get some kind of godly bonus.

And noooooo! Don't disrespect Aengus with a twig! I think it's more suiting to take the Zormite wand and color it foresty shades of green, the gem and bands I meen, and the pole would probably be a fine wood, I could probably have some fun drawing this, should do that maybe...

Hmmm... "Wand of Aengus (spell regen +1)" it's a thought, seeing how that's probably the ONLY useful thing Aengus really gives

Anch of Brigid (casts holy orb)

Unlimited charges of such :grin: that or just a high number of charges and it re-charges when you pray at the alter? Maybe 30-50 charge max and adds one charge every time you pray... (hey, it'd be annoying to return to the alter all the time, this at leasts gives you the ability to kill with it!)

And yeah, these would DEFINATELY hafta be sellable, I meen, if nothing else, it would give Aengus SOME worth! He's one of the worst gods out there... Sept, I'm loyal to him cause he has no offsets that hurt me. I reeeally wanna use create bomb though... You should be able to bless those 15 plat wands into these, but it shouldn't be too eazy to, maybe make it 1/5 or 1/8 as likely as blessing a weapon? Because keep in mind that we'd hafta waist some time praying blessing NOTHING for the chance to get these, so it can't be too hard, and if it's too eazy it'd throw balence off.

Bless from wands of course to prevent people from setting a macro and walking off, if they did such, they'd get one, tops. Unless they have a very GOOD macro which keeps an eye on the item, and switches wands when it changes!

Oh, another, final note in relation to this that I won't go into much detail on: deities could probably have necklaces to give out, "Amulet of Aengus (AC+2) (luck+2)" just a thought

It would be better if they were infinately charged and never ran out, having a certain spell depending on who blessed it at what level, so

Diancecht: ~10 sunspear wand, ~20 wraithful eye
Ogma: ~5 poison spell, ~ 15 poison fog, ~20-25 smallpox maybe
Leuc: ~7 small lightning, ~15 large lightning, ~24 forked lightning, ~30 ball lightning (this spell rocks)
Brigid ~5 minor healing, ~10 medium, ~15 major, ~20 heal, ~25 restoration
Aengus: ~2 magic bullet, ~7 large bullet, ~12 bullet swarm, ~18 bullet storm
Bile: ~5 cause light wounds, ~10 cause medium, ~15 serious ~20 critical, ~finger of death, ~30 face of death
Govannon: uhh dunno, maybe ~6 alchy then ~20 create missile... not summons, govannon repells summoning
Balor: ~5 small fireball, ~10 medium ~15 large ~30 vitriol

If it's too powerful the spell could depend on your level so there would be no uber wands selling for 3984753k with everyone having all the best spells... just 1 wand per person, getting whatever wand ability is for their level. Also note that killing with a wand yeilds no exp :P

I agree, except that they usually give a bit mental through use magic item - then again, when does killing players ever give exp? I think they should give exp against monsters, as long as they have a reasonable recharge time. And yes, they should be one perperson, and maybe be stronger or weaker, atop of the spell depending on the wielder's level, depending on the god the qielder follows - say +x for a follower of the matching god, -x for a follower of the god's enemy.

What the heck? I dissagre with just about everything in this paragraph :P

1 wand per person: Gah! That would COMPLETELY kill the perpose of being able to sell them I meen sure they should be rare, maybe underpriced though, a really good one would sell for only 1k in shops? but really, I see these as being extremely rare, not get them often at all, heh.

Wand killing gives Mental Exp, and I find leveling mental to be really hard so the method of giving it exp would be well appreciated!!! Besides, with actual magic and prayer skill you can get these spells long before you can get the wand for them, so what's the big deal about exp unbalence?

Except for the too powerful thing, which I agree on. It should have a mental level requirement for using, maybe? I meen, wands have mental requirements, I've seen 'em...

As for gaining a spicific spell for what level you are, this is all considering that as true, because I generally like that idea. Should go on wisdom level, not base level. (barbs getting face of death, ech.)


(final thought) Gov is against summoning? I thought he was the dieti on creation o.o oh well, my bad.

They shouldn't be used to make money, and you wouldn't need more than one... also, you shouldn't be able to get the same wand twice.
