I was referring to the higher standard statement.
I didn't say i wanted any servers shut down and i have nothing against Doomsday. Back off.

Levels-wise, Frolic is about 5 steps ahead of the rest of those playerworld's you mentioned. So other than tileset, it looks nothing like those others you mentioned. UN is also bout 3 steps ahead of np and doomsday in levels, and about 5 steps ahead in npc's.

Babylon??? Not even close to the others in levels or npc's. X.x

Well that's my opinion on that. Some playerworlds are way advanced in some areas, but are weak in others. I read somewhere else in this forum where someone said a bunch of these playerworlds should merge. It sounds like a good idea to me, but of course it won't happen because there will be a struggle for power.

Yes thats true, i dont think any two servers could happily merge.
The staff themselves would be unhappy, not sure what the players would think either.
Anyway in the end its not our decision.

If you're talking about current overworld babylon, yes I even agree that the levels and npcs aren't close to other server npcs. Babylon however was a hidden overworld which players can't see. The overworld is actully babylon's old overworld. NPC wise we may have a lead. All of the scripts on that overworld is being done by one scripter. So, please dont judge babylon till the other overworld is released

No overworld should be judged solely on what the average player sees.
In the background a lot goes on.
Our head developer and gfx people are working on our ddrp project, should be awesome when its done.
So i stand with you Alex.

Well, that depends. GraalOnline wants to maximise the fun the players have, and inaccessible content is worthless in that regard. Sure, if a feature is in development - and likely to be released soon - then great, it's worth a few points. But not many.

I was merely supporting Alex in the fact that our servers get bashed for not being as good as Era and other upcoming servers, yet we try our best and each of us have projects we are working on.
Now i know why i gave up posting.
Why take down servers that have good player counts, just because their levels arent up there with new ones?
Sosad.

Bashing servers and objectively judging them are two entirely different things. Yeah, some people say that Doomsday should be taken down. But they're entitled to that opinion and, as long as they conduct themselves properly, they're also entitled to voice it.

Yes, you try your best. But this is the real world and you are not judged on effort here. You are judged on what you can deliver to the average Graalian, and, in some people's opinions, that's not very much.

You're blaming me for posting a harmless opinion now? I didn't bash anything, I just stated a relevant point of view. Sure, it disagreed with yours, but that hardly makes it a cardinal offence

Each has his own reasoning. Perhaps it would be better in the long-term.

On the point of voicing it here on the Forums I will have to disagree on this because of the rules that state talking negative about Graal is not allowed. If they think it should not or should be taken down is something that the rules do not allow to be discussed here of these Forums. It isn't constructive to be bashing a server by saying it needs to be taken down. If they have a serious problem with a PW there is protocol to follow to air this and these Forums are not one of them.

Moon God, do you really think we are supposed to delete all discussion of Graal that is even slightly negative? Again we encounter grey areas - the rules do not explicitly state where the lines are, so we use our own personal judgement. If a person criticises a playerworld in a civilised manner and offers a suggestion that will - in his personal opinion - improve Graal then I think it would be foolish to censor him.

Honestly Kai when is it ever done in a civilized manner? 99% of the time it becomes an excuse to server bash and nothing more, I am not against constructive criticism of a server but that is very seldom done here.

Perhaps so. All I am saying is that we should not immediately and indiscriminantly take action against those who express the belief that Graal would benefit if a server were to be removed. Even assuming you're right, only 99% of the criticisms are expressed in an overly belligerent fashion. There is still a 1% that should not be censored.

I agree with Kai here.

Not to mention Classic worlds are hardly considered "Graal". Graal is GK..Graal is Bomy Moon. Classic is just something using Graal graphics and engine. GK is what we cannot insult, but everything else is fair game I think.

Besides, Kaimetsu is simply giving some good comments concerning the world, if I was the owner it would encourage me to want to create something better....or fix the flaws I am told about.

yes i have, i posted that back in the time of how Un had a save room for trials.

I used to love UN, i went back one day and my favourite place was gone, so i stopped going.

Im not saying its corrupt now, it was just that whole deal that happened.

btw Soul-Blade,Graal may be Graal Kingdoms and Bomy Moon, but without the classics where do we go when our gold runs out.
Your basically saying if you dont have gold, dont play Graal.

Heh no, i forget what it was called now, but it was a little open space where you could sit, and my friends and i claimed as our own little hangout and would pk anyone that came near it, it was all good fun then.
We didnt call names or anything , be like rp in a way, they would try to take over our spot and we'd be like "no!! you cant have it , its ours!" lol

All of which suck imo...Player-made servers are better, allow players to contribute to the game more.
