About time...New Bodies!

After a long while, I finally got the message. SA bodies royally suck. So, here is the story. I was working on some zombie sprites for SA, and the scary thing was, the body/shading was better then the body of the SA body. I couldn't stand it, so it drove me along with all the negative comments to spend a few days making a new body. A body I actually put time, thought, and effort into. So, here it is.

I will post a screenshot of the body in game, to show how well it goes with the world, with the old body next to it in order to compare, and then a second screenshot, from the gani editor this time, showing the body alone. Keep in mind, the body has 6 attributes on it, not including head/hair, it will have 11 total when I completely finish it (with shield + 4 accessories). So it still is not complete, but good enough to show.

Well, here it is! Please post comments, and vote on the poll...I have hopes the results will be rather one sided.

Definatly an improvment. The face looks a little distorted but I'm guessing its because he's looking down at an angle.

Compared to the old ones they are fat, but compared to any other quality game they are just about the right size.

The hair on the newer one looks funky, and the eyes look scary. *scared*

It is at a 45 perspective viewpoint, of course it shows more hair then head x-x

LOL...you must be the only person who likes the old body, hehe. I cannot use the old one, because of the fact completely new dimensions and redone everything, including ganis. I do not plan on make 2 seperate ganis for the hundreds of ganis I will end up having when I am ready.

I don't like either, sorry soul, but the second one looks rather flat, and gradiented. Shadows are all wrong, and you can tell that. It looks as if you didn't spend as much effort. I like first much more.

First one is fine, just edit it up a little bit.

Well, from my point of view, the first one is crap in every way, and the second one is superior. Gradiented?

And what are you talking about, shadows all wrong? As for time spent, I spent 5x as much time on the new ones.

The hair looks really nice, just reminds me of Clay (from American Idol) before he got his hair cut. It looks a little long.

I think the shading around the nose looks funky. It looks like he has dirt on his nose or something.

No. there are 3 types of comments, fool. 1) Positive 2)Constructive and 3)Negative. When you give 1 or 2, I will respond with either a question or positively. The fact is, and I have been holding it in due to the little thing of holding in my own arrogance, but the fact is Tyrials stuff is utter crap. What has he shown...a crappy looking - ripped house from Oasis? Low quality indoors ripped from Oasis and downgraded? He has so many flaws and I will go through them all because of the fuse you just ignited.

1) Completely unoriginal in PW design

2) Bad grammer and spelling

3) Copies and insults things superior to his own

4) Not friendly - only talks when he wants something in return

5) Blackmail - "From now on I am going to show Stefan everything you say" (Ahahaha, and he got a great reaction from Stefan..ah wonderful)

6) Exploitation - "Hey I want to work for debug" "Yeah I can get you access there if you make me some graphics" *takes 2 minutes to leave a message saying a amazing graphics maker wants a position, then in return will receive weeks worth of work in graphics*

7) Did I mention he likes to rip graphics?

8) Conniving - Actually more to what he says then he really shows "Hey Soul Blade I got some good ideas here" *allows on Ideas Team* "Soul Blade can I see the world?" *does no work*.........................

9) Annoying - *logs onto AIM* "Message from Tyrial:<insert annoying useless crap>""Message from Tyrial:<insert annoying useless crap>"........................

10) Only does work when it is to his advantage to gain more power - see: Debug ; Submission to go on Idea Team

11) Brown Noser

12) Whiner - "Stefan please have a talk with soul blade, he seems to have a problem with me" (Gaahaha, and a talk we had...was not what Tyrial expected)

Hehe, thanks. I am actually redoing the hair and the head right now, I am going to downgrade on the shading, using strictly paint. The problem I find with this head (not hair though) is that it is so shaded it takes away from the details, rather then add to it. A head needs less shading (but still shading, using less colors) to properly show the expression. Hehe...I went rambling on a bit, but anywho I am glad you pointed out that nose...

...No, I think it still look fats on its own, or at least that particular set of armour does. The waist is too wide, and the shoulders aren't broad enough, but only by a bit.

i would hope you, soul-blade, would have thought of this
but i hate on graal characters, how they simply just stand there with their arms facing down 24\7

at least in RO, they move and they look a little more human

second, i think the skinny body looks more animeish that seems to fit your server better than that scale model of an ancient hun does.

they both sorta suck
i suggest you hire someone to do decent sprites for you, not being an ass, just saying.
