Limit Breaks

I say everyone should have an attack/spell limit break after they have recieved 3/4ths damage of their HP. If you have played any Final Fantasy, you know what I mean by a limit break. Limit breaks are extraordinary attacks that do more than normal damage. I just think this might add an edge to sparring, and not let the person with the best equipment/level win.

Yeah, Limit Breaks, Critical Hit, Trance, Overdrive, Ect.

cool i like it, and when ur in trance overdrive etc u glow red

I dunno about the glowing part... the only time in any FF game that you glowed was when you were in trance or when you performed the attack...

The idea remains to be a stupid idea on the final fantasy games and it is easily, easily abused on any online game. Timer or not, there's always a way to exploit it. EQ's had disciplines like that for years and they still are fine tuning it so players can't screw iwth it.

Hmm... how bout...
It be named something like Frenzy or something like that
A skill that all but Alchemists use...
Temporary + to Str and Constitution... but a tremendously bad drain of hunger
It can only be activated at 20% hps
You return to normal if you are killed or at 90% hps
At the end of it... your fatigued and take penalties on speed, Str, Dex, Con, and Pow.
The chance of pulling a frenzy off depends on your Physique level... maybe... %chance = (2*cLvl)+25

Name it just Critical Strike... and it should come at random instead of if you lose HP...

Because there are vulnerable spots on the body in which if you hit it, it does more damage.

random to what? strenght con dex? I'm thinking int would be your best bet... I mean its a good way to actually require people to HAVE that stat if they are a warrior... I always wanted ALL the stats to have SOME effect on EVERY class
