Change of plans

I will not be back on Graal as a player or admin till at least the end of summer, not July 13th as previously planned.
This is due to my aggravation at Roleplaying on 2k1 and how it makes no goddamn sense what happens

I will still be posting on the forums in topics not relating to 2k1 roleplaying

=( 2k1 is now no good for RPing

They just blew up Samurai Castle for freakin sakes!!!! The only remaining kingdom that hasn't had anything done to them is Zormite...

Zormite, I think your little palace might not be there tomorrow.

That's the problem though
one castle gets blown up and somehow everyone rationalizes the blowing up of every other castle
even worse, Zormite, which is typically and historically a weak kingdom that's usually fighting yourself has the manpower to trash blow up a castle.

I'm working on a new kingdom system, it's too sketchy as of now. There should be a new set of kingdoms, this would mean a new history though, and everything before that would be oblivious. I'd have to submit my ideals, if anyone would listen to them. The way I see it, there's no way in hell that Stefan's going to change G2k2, so we have to change G2k1.

But will Stefan let anyone change 2k2? I know he didn't like the idea of old bodies back.

not everything is screwed up, Pirate Crew has had no problems, the ship being blown up was planned with tybalt and ghostie to gain dustaris trust then blow them up

The problem is that the kingdom leaders have too much freedoms. They can "roleplay" there was into blowing up things and causing carnage. What happened to drinking a fine wine at a bar, or discussing a treaty? Now days, everyone wants to blow up this, and kill that.

If some of the freedoms were taken away, I beleive some of this disarray and chaos would be cease to exist on the server.

I quit G2K1 im tired of joining a kingdom and having fun then it gets blown up,then joining another and it gets blown up that gets old i would play but sense its no fun when you have nuthing to becuase every day sumthing is blown up it wouldnt do much good

Just reset the server completely. Start all over this time, and not make the same mistakes.

When you start the server, you could pick a kingdom. But only if it doesn't have a tremendous amount of members. That way you could keep the kingdoms even. Remember how it was when you started G2k2?

I Do not accept Bomy Gang as a kingdom

It should be removed I doubt the orginal owners allowed it to be even in control of some idiot who wants it to be a kingdom. (When Brad was place he was told to be removed by coolnick)

Yeah I wanted control so bomys would be fun, not as a kingdom though. As for reset, we saw what that got us.

Karakase base was lit on fire, not even completely destroyed so of course the kingdom isn't gone
I haven't been on Graal so I don't know the Samurai situation, but I know its leaders are all alive.

So...your giving up? Seems pretty...weak. Karakaze could come back...and if you wanted you could revive samurai even though they are not dead. But whatever, do as you like.

Zormite wanted to blow up samurai castle after winning several skirmishes against Samurai. I was opposed to it, and stopped it the first time by making "magical rain" appear. They asked me several more times repeatedly, so I finally agreed to a tarp. But I still didn't want the castle blown up, so I PMed EVERY SAMURAI ONLINE that the castle was going boom. Guess what?

No largescale roleplaying is even planned out on 2k1.. largescale roleplaying on 2k1 consists of this:

- Some guy in some kingdom *****es and cries to the kingdom leader to blow up the other kingdom
- The kingdom leader, having no sense of what roleplaying is, thinks this is somehow a wonderful idea
- The kingdom leader messages the 4-5 members of that kingdom saying "Hi there, I'm going to wipe your Kingdom off 2k1, do you mind?"
- They don't respond either because they are idle or they think it's a big joke
- The kingdom leader pulls some dipshit move and blows up the kingdom the same day the person asked him to.

Real brains there.

The only way roleplaying can be done is if everything was made to be dynamic. Meaning the players could destroy a kingdom castle without the aid of any kindom leader. This might seem outrageous, but if it took a lot of effort to ruin a kingdom's castle or something, it wouldn't be bad. Perhaps the kingdom could have walls surrounding their castle, the walls can be destroyed. This means the kingdom needs to build good defenses so that they aren't destroyed when noone in their kingdom is online.

Kingdom leaders should only be used for adding new things, fixing things, etc. Not blowing up kingdoms and basically forcing everyone to comply to what they want to roleplay as. (like some sort of gamemaster) I think it's ridiculous.
