This is the era of expansion...how long the staff can maintain it determines how popular the server becomes. Classic was rapidly expanding for years, and it's only recently slowed down (because I find myself once again the only contributor)...G2K1 stopped growing really after the first month, and it's floundering.
Point - the mines need to become about twice as big to sustain the economy.
