sparringzone big bug

egp-16_inside3.nw

of my server enigma, i put the script for sparringzone, it shows the sparring sign over ap, and shows your rating when you enter..

but doesnt count rating or stop from dropping items, OR make sure ap isnt 100.

this is making me mad. it works in the level outside this, but this one it doesnt.

please fix this stefan.

I find that half the time if you use that command, it never works =(

9\10 stefan will message saying 'thats bug with public version, new release will be fixed'

when he proably just foud out about it from us, acting like he knew

what is the cause of it?
random? too many npc's?
notlow enough id for spar npc?

Packet loss probably, while the client/server get's/recieves the information it is a sparring zone, the packets containing the information for the lowered AP and stuff don't get through to the player.

If it has an NPC server you need to have the command on both client and server side for it to completely work.

only sometimes / for a few people?

The only explaination that I could imagine of would
be that there are line ends after the
sparringzone
line (the server expects that strequals(#T(script),sparringzone))
Could you check if you can go after the sparringzone thing
with the cursor?

I'm not WarCaptain, but it has never worked offline for me. There are a few NPC commands that I can't use, and if I add a tileset to test and quit Graal, when I come back, the old tileset is back, but it replaced the inside floor tiles with some of my test tiles. I can't change it back. I'll have to reinstall Graal most likely.

always in that level.

theres a level outside egp-16_inside1.graal
that works perfect with it.

maybe that its .nw?

i have same problem sorta

i go on 2k2 and then go to other servers,and the tiles for 2k2 show up all over other tiles.

or if i go other places that have addtiledef, even offline.

I think its a problem with the .nw levels x.x

This happens in Babylon alot too, we dont know how to fix it.
It's non-consistant though, it'll work for some people at the same time its not working for somebody else...really messes up some spars.

delete all the files inside the levels/tiledefs folder, I think it's a problem with the client reading the tiledef text files that causes the tileset to display those images

sparringzone does not work in NW levels, only in Graal levels.. Hasnt it been like that for weeks??
