My Sounds

I know everyone is going to see this thread and post the same thing...but when I start graal my sounds are glitchy and skip and then 2 minutes later they turn off.Can someone tell me why it does that?

Does it happen in offline mode and on all servers or only
at special servers? It could be special sounds with a
weird format which messes up the sound card

hmm... Mabey your sound card is to blame, check it out. Also, Stefan, is there a Sound Card you must have or better to hear .wav

its for all the servers.I noticed on p2p servers, are the only servers that send you the sound files.

Yes, you need better then the default PC Speakers ;P

It happens with good sound cards too,
I had to change a lot of music instruments tones
because they messed up my Soundblaster Live
when played with DirectSound. Most of the time
the problems are fixed when converting it to
8 bit, 11khz, mono (for sfx often enough). To fix
the sound problem I would need the filename of
the sound file.

Hmm... Mabey you should try looking in your sounds folder thing and make sure that the sound card is working properly or that the configuration is set up properly... You may also have the speakers plugged into the wrong port

I fixed it abit, now the sounds work unless I use, or someone else uses a sword
