Disablepause?

Is there a disable pause command? Graal2002 seemed to be using one...if there isn't, then Kai can you move this thread to Future Improvements?

Also, is there a disable map command? Same goes for above Thanks.

sparringzone disables pausing but if you do not want a sparring zone then no....hmm just a simple though, **note 2am so** so....have a npc check for the guild (paused) then if it is there then set the nick as regular name, no guild&&run on a timeout. would htis unpause the player?

Nope, there isn't a disablepause command, but I made a thread about it not too long ago.

no there isnt ..
you can do keydown(10) (i think its 10)
which will do whatever is there after the person unpaused if its under a .05 timeout..
and to disable map.. just dont have one set

No no no...hehe...

Disablemap as in you press M, nothing happens, allowing you to assign a scripted map to it. Disablepause makes it so nothing happens when pressing P, allowing you to put a new command there...

Bah...guess I will have to make a thing where if you hit the P button you get contained in a jail cell for 10 minutes or something, because I don't want people pausing during a RP event, or using unstick me. Unstick Me is easy to fix though, I could just set a flag when he says unstick me or unstuck me, and the flag disable that person from participating in RP events, or it could just contain them like pause for 20 minutes...people would learn very fast what not to do and what to do...

Why not make your own rating system that source is run on the players spar rating? Use the sparing zone code then walla. Thinking about it is the problem.:o

*ponders*cant you just make a whole new scripted map and use the keydown key for "M"then the map would pop up behind it...and you can do whatever with your map then when you press m again your map hides and the 1 behind hides....? thinking late at night=not good for me thinking at all=very bad for me and everyone!me go sleep so i dont think

add +256 to show map...

I'm no idiot. If you couldn't udnerstand what he meant you are stupid. He wanted to disable the map, not hide it. And he is talking about the map, not the minimap.

like i've always said, there should be a command for pausing:

pauseplayer;
unpauseplayer;

and also commands for sparring zones:

enablesparzone;
disablesparzone;

tape is still sounding good...
i am sure there is some sort of way to disable it. if you show 100 or more images it lags like heck and you could use that, lol. its really hard to pause when your lagging.
