I think bomies were kinda badly designed. They're nice as a non-player race, but they don't have enough to succeed as a playable character type. I mean, they don't even have arms - what can they really do with just legs and a head?

Hopefully 2K2 will do better, whether or not it introduces a new player race (personally I think it should have monsters as a race, who are attacked on sight by guards etc).

I don't think they should call it the Human race (in graal this is ofcorse ;D), they should call it the humanoid race. That way we are not bound to being labelled human in the game and can be elves or other humanoid races.

I dunno if "humanoid" would really be an attractive name. But in any case is it really necessary for there to be a public race name? The selection screen doesn't require the names to be shown; nobody would have any problem figuring out which is which if they just showed pictures.

Bomys are a dying breed whichever way you look at it.Personally, I would love to see more bomys around and this would once again bring up more fun conflicts like "bomy vs human". Those were a lot of fun, and then they went to war

From my experience, the only bomys are the people who are new to Graal 2001 and want to experiment with the new race, try it out. But then they just want to be human again probably because they find too many disadvantages, which is not fair.

Someone99 being the bomy, ArchOwl being the human.

It was nice being a bomy for the short while I was one ... But, I just found them to hard to navigate and move around with, seeing as they only move in straight lines, I think if bomies could walk diagonally it would make some bomy navigational problems less severe ...

I say this, because I get left out of events, insulted, attacked more often than other humans, and much more.

Also, I thought about resetting, but, what would it achieve? If I did, WHO whould try and get at least FAIRLY equal things for bomys and humans. You tell me, who?

You don't get it, how many times have threads like this been made and ignored by Stefan? There is no point in adding to the collection, get used to the fact that threads like this never work.
