Since you people Don't know the reasons why Merlin was fired. This is the information Contego has told me to post. Since you guys said so many false things...

To everyone who posted on the last thread,
I see you are all very qiuck to judge. Well here's the story from the begining. Yes I was Xena. No I didn't nor do I have a 14 year old girlfriend. I'm not 23 I'm 21. I'm engaged to someone overseas in a small country.
I was supposed to be replacing IceHawk as Account Admin because IceHawk supposidly gave out his password to Gameo or someone who hacked the mirrior.
Which is why the global guilds don't work. At this time James (not James205) was the Account Manager. But I skipped right over him and was made Admin. James wanted to quit because of this and I urged NightLord to allow James to be the Admin and I'll be his Asst. Well James was Admin for about 2 weeks than quit. Well after that I had a prospect list open with Scalper on it as first and than James205 and than finally SnakeEyes. There were also a few more but not needed to name them. Well when James quit I became Admin. NightLord asked me if I would hire Merlin cause he was going to quit as ART Admin cause he was bored of the job. So I decided to skip over everyone on the list and hire JUST Merlin. Well Everything was fine at first except after the 2nd week Merlin stopped checking mails and 4 days went by and I checked them all. So I finally went to Merlin and said "Let's have a time we check the e-mails. I'll check them from 12 am to 5pm and you check them from 5pm to 12am." Well he agreed and everything was fine till I heard he had a birthday coming up on September 20th. Well I told him to take the day off on that day. Well the 19th rolls around and it's 4pm and I had heardthat the country my financee was is is getting bombed. And it's smaller than Rhode Island. So I asked Merlin to cover the last hour for me on e-mails. He agreed and I logged off. I came to see he never checked his own even. So I sat up checking them all night. Than the next day is his borthday and he is on the comp and of course doesnt check the e-mail nor let me know he never checked them the day before. I didn't mind since it was his birthday. Well the next day comes around and in the evening about 2 am when I get home and see an away message on AIM that says he checked all the e-mails. Well I was happy but I checked to see if anythig was in the box. NOTHING was checked. So he lied to me and tried to justify that he checked them and was getting quite rude and defensive. Than he finally said "oh you're right I was checking [email protected] and not [email protected]" and I said, "I know..." Than he rebuttles with "oh well what are you going to do fire me now? it's not the end of the world!" And I was trying to explain that all I wanted was for him to PLEASE let me know when he doesnt want to check the e-mails so I can expect to make up for him. He repeated with "IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD!" and he also said "I don't want to be lectured at 3am." I than tried to explain I wasnt lecturing but trying to sovle the problem...after that all he replied with was "ok" so finally I decided if my Asst. doesnt seem interested I'll hire someone who is and doesnt make my job harder. Also about not hiring playerworld staff as MAangers was not my call.. that was indeed NightLord's so by all means as him. He was against hiring James205 and SnakeEyes. So please before all of you judge try hearing the whole stroy. This is to James my old Admin.. I actually have no respect for you saying that to me. And to anyone else who called me corrupt swallow your words. Also let's examine Merlin's prospect list. The Game/Gameo & IceHawk. Both people who had something to do with corruption. And Merlin you are right I was asking to remain your friend cause I thought it was stupid to lose a friend over an online game. I'd like to add that was my mistake for believeing you were a friend at first. Enough said.

most of that is correct except the part about me not checking on the second week i checked monday tuesday and then my uncle came unexpected un wendsday to take me to visit family for my birthday then we went around etc etc then thursday i had a birthday party etc etc friday we went to levittown to see my grandma got back that night and i came on at 3am and he's saying all this stuff blah blah which i did'nt want to hear at 3am so i said can we not talk about this now and he's saying something like "oh no i don't like what i'm hearing" and i got offline come back saturday open the emails when i go to log on rc it says your ip is not listed so i though it was a bug makoz says "were you fired?" and i said "i don't know...why?" and he says "someone told me...not sure" so then we start talking about some staff things etc etc. then i ask nightlord why my ip is not listed he said "contego had you removed" then i did'nt see contego on aim and later that night he messages me with a new screename and says
"i hope your not bad" and we talked and i told him what happend and he said "you should have told me earlier" i said "i did! i told you last night" and he started making up some stuff which was not true so i said whatever go to hell and blocked him on that screename (teh wizad) then i went on my other screename. and that's it, but i'm not going to make a big deal, obviously james205 will be one sided since he wants his o mightly level4 rc. i was dumb to waiste my time helping graal when i got screwed over in the end.

Merlin was fired because he didnt answer emails for 4 days, if this would have been a problem, he could have told contego that he wouldn't of been able to answer them for 4 days. Contego could have checked it, also contegos g/f online is 16, but it's not even a big deal; it's online not in real life. Contego is engaged in real life I'm sure the last thing on his mind is to get with kids... I was faq chief on shaded legends, but no quests came around and contego assured me there would be,so I remained there, but I'm not there any longer. There's no reason for a faq team there without quests or npcs. I don't want to sit here and argue in a forum for months at a time, just get my side of the story said in case someone mentions my name. I came back to classic as FAQ because I was offered it and I have all intentions on answering more then my share of emails to make contegos work a little easier. He worked hard to get to accounts administrator and is probably the best person suited for the job; he wouldn't have been offered it if they didnt expect him to be able to handle it. He turned it down at first for asst and let james take over so I don't see why everyone here is talking about him. The fact merlin has to go on a jailing spree and be a baby about it is his own problem, he won't be rehired because he didn't handle his share of work and then afterwards caused even more havok. If it's just a "dumb ***got game with ***gots" as merlin said so wisely...then shut up and drop the subject altogether. You were fired now, move on with your life. I'm not handling more then 1 useless job, and I dont intend to, nor ever have intended to take more then 1 staff job at a time. I have nothing against merlin or james or contego or james205 so I'm not siding with one person or another. I didn't plan on leaving faq for accounts manager, once again that was something offered to me, whether I deserved it or not isn't my call, but someone obviously thought I could, because I got the job.

Contego and James205 have been picked on long enough, I guess it's my turn .

If he fired me for that reason I'd probably be pissed too, but it's over with now...personally I think you did a descent job, except for those 4 days I saw you on graal a good portion of the time. I'm just trying to take a little tension off james205 here ; but just because I've only had FAQ experience doesn't mean I can't do my job, or handle opening emails and have a lvl 4 rc. I've had one before, it's not that hard to do. He should have been more leniant about it, but you had the previous 3 days to just turn on your computer and tell him; he's on AIM almost 24/7. If he's not on, he at least has an away message. Contacting him prior to this wouldn't have been too hard to do.
