RC Idea For Stefan?
Me and my friend are just testing around and trying to make something useful for iDevices with the Graal RC.
Anyway here is what iv'e got so far. head to here on an iDevice to see an example of what an RC for iDevice's could look like. http://www.allscripters.com/h13-rc-login
Would be really nice if stefan could code somthing like this to actually work.
Also is it possible to access a Graal Created IRC on a server externally?

The idea is really, really nice but it would take an amazing amount of money to pull this off, and then some people will complain when the app isn't free. You also need a hell of a lot of skill with other coding languages and make sure everything isn't buggy etc. Then apple has to test it and pass it for approval... But you can always use cydia

There isn't very much information on sockets. You can also look at cbk's web and ftp server scripts for more information on them.

Never said anything about hosting.

But as far as the layout/programming, there was no money involved.
(Not to mention domains/hosting are dirt cheap nowadays)

You don't even need PHP.

1. Setup cbk's http server script on your server.
2. Create a dynamic page on the graal webserver to "login" (you won't be able to use your Graal account/authentication), get and send chat messages.
3. Create a client page on your webserver and use AJAX/Javascript to communicate with your Graal server's webserver.

You're going to have to learn how to do it on your own.

So far iv'e setup the webserver, the login page is going to confuse me. Might use SQLite.

I am not sure why you would expend so much effort on creating your own (probably horrendously insecure) RC protocol when it is already possible to use a modified Scripted RC and all Client-RC features from iOS devices.

so your attempting to make a Iphone FTP, because it seems like that all you can do regarding sockets with the third party software. Would be cool if you built a custom chat, to talk with the individuals(Staff) that logged into FTP. Kinda like a rc wannabe lol.
Maybe graal can add a custom feature later on that's similar to the facebook link-account feature. Then players would be able to use there graalian credentials.

I am fairly certain that iOS development tools are on Stefan's roadmap.
