1. Bomys should NOT be allowed to use swords and shields.
2. SSmutz and THT are wrong about the BAES, Gonmon has been saying for quite awhile that bomys were psychic. I believe even Antago said so.
3. The suits should only be useable in Antora. If you make these BAES things able to go down waterfalls or fly over mountains, I'd have to scream.

Yes, but do they have swords and tridents? No, instead they kick, and the races are fair, Bomys can gain money faster and they are fast on water, humans run on land faster and can use swords, why mess up balance just to add a robot suit and ultra-super mind powers?

Nobody at all should be complaining that doesn't know the ORIGIN of the bomies, or everything behind Zalactic Labs, so basically, NOBODY should be complaining.

Zalactic labs has been around quite a while, and it was ALWAYS a high-tech facility in the graalian world. Some time ago when it was still running, the main lab room had computers and monitoring devices all over the main lab room, as the two original scientists studied the earth and the life of the earth. Unfortunately, shortly after the discovery of bomies, and the initial research, the lab was destroyed. The plans and research for a morphing device which would allow humans to turn into a bomy were lost along with the lab.

Whether or not Professor and Prephesur survived is yet unknown. Though a new scientist has been attempting to salvage the rubble and seems to have discovered some quite interesting stuff within the laboratory and the several caverns in Mt. Antora.

Dont' go complaining about all the high tech stuff...it was always there in Zalactic labs, before any of you played G2K1 in fact, there were always plans for it. So just wait and see what happens...I'm sure it won't add unbalance to the game, or be incredibly stupid and make no sense (there will be *gasp* a plot!), because I'll make sure Gonmon stays on track, and I'm sure he'd do a good job anyway.

no...our (Antago and I) original plans were to let you be able to morph any time you want...but Stefan didn't like that...and I guess Antago started seeing his point. We could have made several ways to make it work, but having two races isn't all that bad.

I don't care when this idea was thought up about bomy's having suits and psychic powers.. It just won't work.

Graal does not really have a set time in history, but there are SOME limitations.. there are swords and shields, and arrows and such.. then there's trains and nukeshots and stuff like that.. THAT is ok.. big bomy suits walking around will KILL graal..

I have been playing graal for 2 years and there has been some crazy stuff, but never bomy suits controlled psychicly.. It's stupid. Bomy's are cooler without stupid suits. And before you complain to me about not having good reasons.. here I go:

1. Almost all current graal players think the game is based in the past
2. Bomy's were never announced to have psychic abilities (thats like saying the humans have psychic powers as well)
3. The bomy's will have too great of an advantage
4. The suits will NOT match the current graal scenery
5. The whole lab idea is corny and the bomy's seem more like little pets than some super intelligent psychic race of creatures.
6. Not all bomy's are the same size.. you would have to make like 30 suits for them all to have a good fit without looking even stupider.
7. Bomy's would become too much like human's ruining the point of having distinguished races.


This all sounds like some stupid idea you got into your head and now no one can tell you otherwise. It is a bad idea, and many people will tell you this.. If this gets online, than I want mobile suits for players as well.. and they get psychic powers, and the ability to fly, morph, and teleport.. and have magic powers, and can turn into model train sets that can move super fast...

Just kill the idea I will not enjoy it, and nor will a lot of other people.. I don't care if bomy's get more stuff, as long as they don't have this great advantage over human players. Plus I feel this is just a sad attempt to get revenge since bomy's are obviously weaker fighters.. you are just making it uneven by giving bomy's all the advantages the human players had over them.

To bluntly put it.. It's stupid.

As for fairness, simple economic principle can be applied to show that bomys are not balanced with humans until they are desirable enough that about the same number of people play both. Right now, humans outnumber bomys almost 10 to 1. So keep making bomys better, please!

lol, nobody actually probably knows about all the spiffy little stuff you can change on bomies to make them better in different areas...I mean, hp isn't the only customizable part about bomies (other than setbomy, which ruined having each type of bomy have special attributes)...there's a TON of other variables that affect the bomy morph...they're just never used...

Zalactic labs a dumb idea? There's absolutely no way I'd let anyone do anything if it wouldn't fit...I'm big on stuff fitting a plot. Zalactic labs is where all this stuff came from though...I mean, it's the faint shard of plot in the G2K1 world...it should have been integrated more in the beginning, but it wasn't...

Kyle is right. Zal labs has been around b4 all of you. And yes, Dante, the Humans do have a major advantage over bomys in different areas such as number, speed, and attack ratio. I will be starting either an entier thread when Zalactic Labs is released or maybe a web page stating all the specs and information about the BAES.

And Beo, the swords/shields thing. Swords will be just another way of attacking. It will use bomb power as well. Also, the attack will not be used like humans, taking up about 5 or six sprites for one chop. Instead, it will be a simple straight forward attack in place of a kick. It might not just be swords, but tridents and spears instead.

Now then, everyone quit complaining.

This Baes thing would go 10000000000000 times better on my server, with the futuristic theme and all, but i'll just have to make a mech of my own, I guess.Graal2001 seems like it is in medievil times, its like in 1600, Camelot is at war with some mech's, just doent seem right.Oh well!
