Gun Ganis

I haven't logged onto era in a while since i went on today. I've notice a lot of the idle gani's are different then others one that moves and the ones that doesn't move.
Most of them are out of shape really not good errors ect.

for a Example the ones that doesn't move look like it was slap on there and throw together the ones that moves the head moves separate from the gun honestly my idea it looks better if it moves together and not like u guys have them i also was wondering if u guys came up with better stances ect for era and more idea's for the gun system that is out now thank you Rave

Another thing the Shooting gani part could be bit more professional then what is on there as we speak. and the Reloads you guys could make it where different guns reload different they the others and take longer ect.
Since most of all the guns pretty much reload the same.

When critiquing things (or just when posting in general), it's probably a good idea to be able to put down at least one or two clear cohesive thoughts that are able to be understood by the general public.

I mean, if I had to make a list (and I do):

- Be clear.
- Be concise.
- Be clear.
- Be specific.
- Make sense.
- Be clear.
- I realize English may have a shady background, but you don't need to destroy it quite so completely. Have some mercy.
- Be clear.
- Make sense.

Okay, in response to your...post...

Guns already have different reload times, yeah? And they have different ganis, too. I don't get what you're trying to suggest.

Define what makes a shooting gani "professional", and then maybe I'll be able to tell you whether or not I agree. Like, what specific parts of the shooting ganis do you disagree with?

"for a Example the ones that doesn't move look like it was slap on there and throw together the ones that moves the head moves separate from the gun honestly"

Word.

I hate how staff change things that don't need to be changed.

pretty much every time a new gani artist is hired, they always redo a bunch of ganis that have nothing wrong with them as if it was completely necessary. same goes with graphics too.

I don't think there's anything wrong with updating ganis/gfx as long as they look better.

However, I also do agree with what you're saying. I don't get why certain guns that were alright to begin with get updated, but then disgusting, revolting graphics like the new SG (or seriously, how long are we going to keep the terrrrrible GG graphics?) are completely unaddressed.

For the dual golden uzis, I think it'd be best if we kept it short and realistic.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Your character throws one uzi up straight up in the air, freeing up a hand. He quickly jams another cartridge in the uzi still left in his hand, and then throws a cartridge up in the air. This cartridge throw is perfectly timed and lands in the airborne uzi just as it falls into your outstretched hand.

And then you strike a pose.

Why must nearly every post you create always have a negative energy?

Rave_J, I Kinda agree with you. We seriously need different idle ganis.

I get how the staff makes the weapons realistic by making you bob your head up and down like you are breathing, but does it have to be EVERY single weapon?

I remember the only weapons that made you breathe like that were the M4 and the Desert Raven. Also, everytime we run with a 2-handed weapon, we run with it like its a toy with one hand. I ran with an M16 in real life with one hand, and I looked pretty stupid.

We need some new Idle-ganis, and running animations with weapons.

Personally, I can't stand the breathing thing. Really exaggerated, pretty ridiculous looking. You're not going to get total realism on Graal, but you also don't need to be completely out of breath the second you whip out a gun.

But here's the thing: We're 2 foot tall characters with the proportions of Link from the Super NES era. There's no way you're going to get a realistic animation of them running with a gun if you look at the current gun models we have. The guns we use are not proportional nor to scale of our characters. They'd have to be much smaller. Every handgun would have to be somewhere around the size of the taurus. Take the deagles, for example - it'd be like holding mini cannons in each hand. Maybe that explains why we're out of breath...

Good god, yes.

You're one of the few that agree with me.

Cool, calm collected assassin vs. Out of Shape Boot Camp Reject that looks like he's applauding every time he fires an AK.

/facepaw

Im not saying to change the animation entirely. Im just saying that, if you guys are trying to make it realistic, like with the breathing, atleast change the running animation. Not entirely, but atleast slightly.

Well the breathing gani's has errors in it
its really not done right so you dont get the actual feel and i think every idle should be different in holding guns reloads ect
i know each reload is different but pretty much the same idea thought
