Mental leveling

I have heard rumors about getting from 1-107 in mental by using 3k torches, 3k sulphur and 9k rubies. Is this correct? Using a +2 cauldron

I would of thought less, or well unless you seriously do mean from level 1? because i hate to think of the slag rate i'd go from say 25 - 107

1-107 is a dream with that little resources. But i think mental levelling should be considered a bug imo
Kinda stupid how you can get to the max level using a low level alchemy a few thousand times. imo, even DoRU shouldn't get you to 107 mental that easy, would like to see the exp curve on mental change, and more focus on useful alchemy giving more mental, so like, making pmop, comp, etc, should give alot of mental exp. And new recipes should be thought of aswell.

Now if you had the +5 cauldron that was floating around... it would prolly be possible.

Erm. I talked to Drake a while ago when trying to acquire 107. He was using normal caulds and said he's used around 6k-8k(?).

Most people don't attempt it with a normal cauldron...

Whats about removing all this dumb and unrealistic "skill-scroll", "alchemy" or somewhat mental training?

It's just and easy dumb, button smashing and a weird and unrealistic way to get a skill up.

Rather combine or remove stats/skills people don't need, but the current system of mental training just and easy makes no sense. People just do it to get lvl 107 for health power, it has nothing to do with reaching a high "mental level" on gk - as you don't or hardly benefit of it.

There's a lot more work involved in the process than you give it credit for. It is not 'button mashing' in any way, shape or form. In fact, doing so will earn you nothing but a heap of slag.

Also, Dust of Visibility is very hard to make up until around levels 50-60. If you start on doing that recipe any time before level 30, you will almost always slag. When I did alchemy, it took me about 3-4k rubies. It sounds like an easy amount to acquire, but depending on how competitive the market gets for them, you could be at it for months or even close to a full year.

Be advised, though, that when I was doing Alchemy, I had my Int maxed out and was using a Cauldron +3, which gives a much better yield of dusts.

It isn't a bug. The exp for producing dusts just happens to be very high because you'll fail it constantly if you don't have the right stuff while doing it. It's not like leveling physical because you have to do a lot more farming and gathering instead of fighting. I've been through the whole process already, and can tell you that a lot of people quit even trying to do mental sometimes because it sucks so much time and cash out of you.

This is the story of the legendary Sage...
He spent all his life creating Dust of Visiblity, before he finally reached immortality and wisdom.

Seriously, wouldn't you rather like an intelligent way to level that skill?
If its hard to gain 3-4k rubies or not - its just and easy a nonsense task.

What's next, forging shovels to level wisdom to high levels? You would do that, too, as it is a legitimate way to level? It should somehow still be a rpg - no bollocks, like it is at the moment.

Or let me tell you another story,
of merlin, who gained unbelieveable wisdom by buying millions of high level scrolls and reading them, one after the other, although they, alltogether, told the same damn story.

I can think of Idd Iot, the legendary thief, who got the best thief on earth by stealing of lords? In the end, he was the best - although he never got anything of the lords.

I have played many old rpg games, other graal servers and many good rpg games on computer.

What has really changed on G2k2 after 2002/2003, except that most things have gotten worse?

Of course you can tell me - why should CJ invest time? Hardly any people are playing?
Here, the snake is biting it's tail - I think that GK had much more players in the past and the player count had started to drop more and more, as stefan has stopped all time investments into the server.

Seriously, the game is out for 7 years and the rpg gaming mechanisms don't even work properly - and this is the big gold world and flagship of graal?
Why should I stop complaining? GK is the server ive played for years as paying user, I am just not willing to accept that nothing really has happened for a half decade - or has there been a huge gameplay addition except maps in this time?
