I think it's really stupid to choose the KotH MVP by who has the most kills. it's too easy to steal other people's kills so it really doesn't show much.

I think all the damage you do in KotH should be counted, and whoever has the most damage done at the end is the MVP.

I use a crizen in KotH. I do a lot of damage to players, but the other people who are spamming guns like a PBP or minigun are the ones getting the kills, not me. I'm still a valuable player though.

it just makes a lot more sense, I don't know. discuss.

This is the first post of yours that i actually agree with. It shouldn't be based on soley kills, but then how else could it be determined? IDK if it's posible but maybe if there was a damage counter that recorded the amount of dmg a person does to people + the flag? Or maybe if the team votes on who should get it? Idk but your right, someone who just lames kills shouldn't be MVP

Damage is actually a pretty cool idea, I'd be happy to implement it if Squirt/Daz agree.

well the damage you do to the box can be included in the damage you do to other players.

I don't play Era so I'm not entirely sure if my post will even make sense because I'm stating my opinion based solely on my experience with KoTH gametypes from different games:

Why would MVP go to the person with the most kills/damage/etc? Isn't the point of KoTH to capture the hill? MVP should go to the player with the most time in the hill.

It's in teams; there's really no way to determine if someone is "in" the hill or not.

it's not really an area. it's a chest that you hit to gain control.

the chest should be made into a computer and you have to hack it by holding a or something and it has to load the virus "takes all of 3 seconds or w/e" and instead of gaining points, you gain money that you stealing from the company. And the building is a warehouse or something. It would give a story to KOTH and make it match eras theme. Just a thought

damage makes the most sense.
there are people that don't spend much time in the chest room that are still valuable players. there are also people that don't shoot the chest as much that are still valuable players. I think damage pretty much sums up everything you do in KotH.
