So, how should it be done?

Should I make it so that players can also stock manual shops?
How should the shops be stocked? Depending on how many are sold over the past day, or should it be a set amount per day? Any ideas/suggestions? thanks

Auto-restock more often ! Like at 10am and 10pm (with era's clock)

You could try both. Just have it where the do-it-yourself shops sell the items cheaper than the auto-restock shops.

You should stock things in ALL shops yourself.. But its free? So u just have to put some time into it before u can buy it? Like make it 50-100 grabs

As far as Auto-Restock, even without that idea (and kinda going off topic), you should do that "2 Era days = 24 IRL hours" thing. Makes timed events easier to create when they're going by Era time, and kinda makes it worth having Day/Night.

BUUUTTT, Anyway: I think both wouldn't be too bad of an idea, maybe let a single store offer both. But if a store offers both as a method the auto-restock shouldn't be often, otherwise it kills the purpose of players stocking it.

Of course, as Yocas said, just have different stores offering different methods.

I did like when shops like the one at unstick stocked on its own and also had a manual stocking room in the back.
